4 things are good per se, but even better in certain circumstances

[Faizan-e-Mustafa]

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful and, Peace and Blessings of Almighty Allah be upon the Chosen Prophet.

 

1) Modesty is good in men but even better in women.

 

2) Displaying justice is good, but particularly good when displayed by judges and leaders.

 

3) Repentance from an old person is good, but even better from a young person.

 

4) For the rich to spend on charity is good, but even greater for the poor. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah azzawajal be upon him) has immensely praised the poor Muslim who donates charity.
