Explaining Ayat 190/191 Of Surat Al-i-Imran.

Recommended Posts

As-Salaam alaikum,

Ayat 190-191 0f Surat Al-i-Imran of the Holy Qur'an reads:--

''Assuredly in the creation of the Heavens and the Earth and in the

alternation of Night and Day- there are signs for possessors of cores.

Those who remember [celebrate the Praises of] Allah, standing, sitting

and lying down on their sides; and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth.''  (3:190/191)

Those possessed of a 'Core'  or lubb, are those who have reached the stage where their remembrance of Allah is unbroken and are seldom forgetful of their Lord, whatever they amy be doing. Only then are they able to recognize the signs in the creation of the heavens and earth as signs, that is, as indiactors of higher realities and ultimately of the Highest Reality of all, the Absolute Lord of Creation.
