Asalam o Alaykum, I need some material over the issue of moon sighting or moon birth is enough for eid, ramadan and other days of islamic calendar. Ideally in English but if not even urdu is fine. There are few questions i need to look into; Does moon need to be sighted in order to start ramadan or eid or islamic month or is birth of moon enough (confirmed by astro) in order for people to start islamic month (even if the moon isn't signted due to many factors),?
