  1. Indeed fasting has been ordained to apply to each and every limb of the human body. Here is my another contribution to this thread . Fasting of the tongue: is to restrain it from wrongs it is liable to commit. Fasting of the ear: is to restrain it from listening to profane talk. Fasting of the eyes: means abstinence from obscene scenes or sights for fun anf frolic. Fasting by the inner self: is to get rid of greed and passion. Fasting by the heart: is to cast out love of worldly things. Fasting of the spirit: is to refrain imagining to oneself the pleasure of the Herefater. Fastng ff the soul; is the total rejection of all except Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
  2. The bounties of Ramadhan are unimaginable. The rewards that Allah Ta'ala showers on us are countless. May Allah Ta'ala forgive us for the sake of the blessed month of Ramadhan and glance at us with His Mercy and free us from the fire of Hell. Aameen

    Protect yourself in Ramadhan

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu JAZZALLAHU ANNA SAYYEDINA MUHAMMADAN MA HUWA AHLAHU Fasting requires restraint of all the limbs "O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before so that you may attain taqwa." (Surat-ul Baqarah, 2:183) In order to increase the level of taqwa attained, Muslims should refrain from any behavior that may jeopardize the rewards from fasting. Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu anhu reported that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "Fasting is not only abstaining from eating and drinking, but also from vain speech and foul language. If one of you is being cursed or annoyed, he should say: "I am fasting, I am fasting." Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu anhu also reported that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "Whoever does not abandon obscene speech and evil action, Allah does not need his refraining from eating and drinking." [bukhari] Frankly, Muslims who engage in lying (even to joke with false statements), backbiting, gossip, spreading rumors, and causing Fitnah (confusion, dissent) cannot expect their fasts to be acceptable to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Therefore when you fast, let your hearing, sight, tongue and all your limbs fast, so that your fasting and non-fasting days are not the same.
  4. Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam As we try to spend most of our time in Worship, Ibadaah day and night, we gain that closeness, especially if we spend this opportunity in repentance and tawba with sincerity, the heart becomes cleansed and you will automatically feel the rest of the fruits mentioned above as they automatically follow and flourish in your heart and mind and soul and life, Like Taaqwa and patience , you gain strength and discipline and you show kindness sympathy and are ready to forgive and seek forgiveness as your character is changed as your heart is cleansed and this reflects in your character and personality to others and generally in your daily life. When we are kind to others this is charity, a smile is charity thankig others is charity etc.

  9. The Ramadan nightly prayer has a special merit over other nights. The Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "Whoever observes night prayer in Ramadan as an expression of his faith and to seek reward from Allah, his previous sins will be blotted out." (Muslim)

  11. It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) was the most generous amongst all the people and his generosity was most evident in the month of Ramadaan, at the time when he used to meet with Jibraeel alaihis salaam, and he would meet with Jibraeel (alaihis salaam) on every night of Ramadaan and recite the Quran. When the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) used to meet with Jibraeel (alaihis salaam), he used to be even more generous than excessive wind.” (Bukhari)

  13. Our Beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa (Sallall Allahu Ta'ala Alaihi Wasallam) praised her repeatedly after her death. Once Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (Radi Allahu Anha) said: "O Messenger of Almighty Allah! She was a widow old lady. Almighty Allah blessed you with a better wife after her." On hearing this, our Beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa (Sallall Allahu Ta'ala Alaihi Wasallam) turned red and said: "By Almighty Allah! I never got a wife better than her. When all of the people rejected my invitation, she believed in me. When all of the people belied me, she testified me. When other people deprived me from every thing, she sacrificed all her possessions for me. Almighty Allah blessed me children with her". What an amazing pious woman, Allah Subhanah Wa Ta'ala is pleased with her, so much that Almighty Allah sends her special salaams. "Allahu Akhbar !" How she loved and adored the Beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Sallall Allahu Ta'ala Alaihi Wasallam). The first woman to embrace Islam and believe in Him (Sallall Allahu Ta'ala Alaihi Wasallam). ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
