  1. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sa We are going to describ a few Mu'jizas of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). These are:- 1. The greatest miracle of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the Holy Quran which was revealed upon him. Till this day no person has been able to bring a verse equal to that of the Holy Quran. 2. The splitting of the Moon was another great miracle. When Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) was 52 years old, the leaders of the disbelievers of the Quraish tribe came to him and said, "If you are a Prophet, then split the moon into two parts." Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) dearly wanted the people to convert to Islam, especially his close friends and relatives. He prayed, raising up his hands, and the moon split into two equal halves. Each part of the moon was seen above different mountains. The disbelievers said, "Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has performed magic." They did not accept Islam. 3. Once, while the Muslims were in the midst of a battle with the disbelievers, their water ran out. Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) dipped his blessed hands into some water and water began to flow from his blessed fingers. This water filled a container, and only stopped until he took his blessed hand out of the water. It is said that in the Battle of Tabuk 70 000 Sahaba and their animals drank this water and used it. 4. One day, Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) met a person who was holding an idol in his hand: "Will you accept Islam if this idol talks to me?" The idol worshipper said, "I have been worshipping this idol for 50 years and it has never spoken to me. How will it speak to you?" Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) looked at the idol and asked, "Who am I?"A voice was heard from the idol saying: "You are the Prophet of Almighty Allah." When the idol worshipper heard this, he immediately became a Muslim. 5. A disbeliever came to Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and asked him: "How do I know that you are the Prophet of Allah?"Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) answered: "Would you believe in me if that bunch of dates hanging on that tree comes near me when I order it to?" He said that he would. Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) called the bunch of dates. The bunch of dates hobbled over to him. He then said, "Go back to your place." The dates then went back to its place again. The disbeliever, on seeing this miracle, became a Muslim. 6. One day Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) asked a peasant to convert to Islam. The peasant said that he would accept Islam on condition that Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) revive his neighbour's daughter, who was dead. Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and the peasant went to a certain grave where the girl was buried. Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) called the dead girl by her name. A voice was heard from the grave. The girl appeared. Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) asked the girl: "Do you want to come back to the world?" The girl answered: "O Prophet of Almighty Allah! I do not want to come back to the world. I am happier here than I was in my father's house. The next world for a Muslim is better than this world." The peasant immediately accepted Islam. 7. A dumb boy, who was quite grown up, was brought to Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). He asked the boy: "Who am I?" The boy answered: "You are the Prophet of Almighty Allah." Thereafter, the boy was able to speak until his death. 8. Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Haatib (radi Allahu anhu) says: "I was young and some boiling water was poured on my body. I was burnt. My father took me to Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). He rubbed his blessed saliva along the burnt places on my body and then prayed. Immediately, those parts were healed." 9. A women once sent some honey to Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) as a present. He accepted the present and sent back the "empty" pot. But, when she took the pot, she saw that the pot was full of honey. The women returned to the Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and asked: "O Prophet of Allah! (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) Why did you not accept my present? I wonder, what is my sin?"Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) answered,"We have accepted your present. The honey that you see in your pot is the blessing given by Almighty Allah for your present." The woman and her children ate this honey for many months. One day, she unknowingly put the honey into another pot. In the new pot, the honey was eventually used up. It was reported to Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) about what had happened. He declared: "If it had been left in the pot that I sent, they would have eaten it until the end of the world; it would not have decreased at all." 10. Sayyiduna Anas bin Maalik (radi Allahu anhu) had a shawl which was given to him by Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) had wiped his blessed face with it. Sayyiduna Anas (radi Allahu anhu) also used it. When the shawl became stained, he placed it into the fire to remove the stains. Miraculously, the fire never burnt the shawl but it cleaned the stain on it. This was because the shawl had touched the blessed body of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). 11. In the battle of Badr, one of the eyeballs of Sayyiduna Qatadah bin Noman (radi Allahu anhu) was plucked out and fell on his cheek. He was in great pain and agony. The Sahaba decided to free him from the pain by cutting off his eye completely. One of the Sahaba advised that he be taken to Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) put the eyeball back into it's place with his blessed hand. He prayed, saying: "O! My Allah! Make his eye beautiful." Sayyiduna Qatadah (radi Allahu anhu's) eye was more beautiful than the other one. He used to see more clearly with that eye. 12. During the Battle of Badr, Sayyiduna Okkasha bin Muhsin (radi Allahu anhu) broke his sword on the armour of one of his enemies. When Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) saw him, he gave him a stick and said to him: "Go and fight." As soon as the stick passed into his hands, it changed into a sharp sword. He fought fiercely with it and killed many enemies. Sayyiduna Okkasha (radi Allahu anhu) always carried that sword and fought many battles with it. He named the sword "Aun" or "Help and Victory." 13. There was a Sahabi by the name of Sayyiduna Safina (radi allahu anhu). He was freed by Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam's) wife, Sayyadah Umme Salma (radi Allahu anha). He served Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) loyally. He was captured by the disbelievers during the war against the Romans. But, he managed to escape from them. On his way back, he met a lion. He told the lion that he was the servant of Muhammadur Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). He also explained to the lion what had happened to him. The lion rubbed himself on Sayyiduna Safina (radi Allahu anhu) and said: "Walk with me!" They walked together until Muslim soldiers were seen. Then, the lion left. 14. Sayyiduna Zaid bin Harith (radi Allahu anhu), a very greatSahabi, was travelling to a distant land. The mule rider, whom he had hired, wanted to kill him. Sayyiduna Zaid bin Haarith (radi Allahu anhu) sought permission from the mule rider to perform two Rakaah of Nafil Salaah. The mule rider agreed. At the end of his Salaah, the Sahabi called out "Ya Arhamar Rahimeen" 3 times. As he called out this name each time, a voice was heard saying, "Do not kill him!" Suddenly, a cavalryman with a sword in his hand appeared and killed the mule rider. Then, turning to Sayyiduna Zaid bin Harith (radi Allahu anhu), the man said, "When you began to say, 'Ya Arhamar Rahimeen,' I was in the seventh heaven. When you said it for the second time, I had reached the first heaven. The moment that you recited it for the third time, I was here and I rescued you." Sayyiduna Zaid bin Harith (radi Allahu anhu) immediately understood that he (the man) was an Angel sent by Almighty Allah to assist him. 15. It was witnessed many times, how the gravel or the food in the blessed hands of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), sounded like bees and recited the Names of Almighty Allah.

  6. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam RIGHTS OF PARENTS The Rights Of Parents are Very Important in this World.. Once a Person Approached The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and inquired :- " IS THERE ANY FORM OF GOOD BEHAVIOR UNTO PARENTS BY WHICH I CAN BE COURTEOUS UNTO THEM AFTER THEIR DEMISE" ?.. "Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said Yess, NAMAAZ (JANAAZAH) upon Them, SUPPLICATION OF FORGIVENESS ON THIER BEHALF, FULFILLMENT OF THEIR RELIGIOUS BEQUEST, TO MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIP WITH THOSE RELATIVES LINKED THROUGH THEM ONLY AND TO HONOUR THEIR FRIENDS. '' - (Abu Daud and Ibn Majah) Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam SPECIAL POSITION OF MOTHER Mu'awiyah ibn Jahima narrated : I Went to The Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and said : O Messenger Of Allah ! I Intend To Join a battle (to fight for the cause of Allah) and have come to you for consultation. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam inquired of my mother was alive and i replied : YES. the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Then Said Stay Close to Your Mother (to serve her well) because PARADISE LIES AT HER FEET. (Ahmad, Baihaqi, Nasai)
  7. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam In The Light Of The Above Mentioned Traditions It is Very Clear That Service To Parents is Superior To JIHAD, Casting A Glance Of Love and Affection at Parents Is Equivalent To an Accepted HAJJ, ALLAH's Curse is Upon Those Who Displeases Their Parents, Paradise Lies Under the Feet Of Mother, and those who disobey their parents and displeases them will be deprived of paradise.. Hence, Everyone Should Respect His / Her Parents, make all His / Her Efforts to Please them and After Their Death, The Friends and those closed to them should be respected and treated properly. 11. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu I Pray that you are all well and in the best state of Imaan, Ameen! Hazrat Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu anhu narrates that Rasoolallah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said ''On the day of judgement the people who will be called towards paradise first will be those that praise (remember) Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala in happiness and sadness. (Baihiqi Shareef) Most people forget Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala during happiness, whereas it should be that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala should be remembered and thanked more during happiness. The friends of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala (Awliya Allah) remember Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala more during happiness so that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala will be pleased. If a person remembers Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala during happiness then Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala removes difficulties and sadness from that bondman and increases happiness. This is because happiness and sadness are both from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. When a person believes in this and decides that whatever is the Will of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, I will be pleased with it, and then Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala looks upon such a person with Rehmat and gives him the glad tidings of Jannat. Subhanallah! May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala through the alms of Rasoolallah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam give us the guidance to remember Him at all times. Ameen! Fi Aminillah Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

  13. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu I pray that you are all well and in the best state of Imaan, Ameen! Many people make Salaam, when they are not supposed to, like when you are eating or are in the toilet, this thread is just a quick reminder for everyone not to make Salaam when you are: Engaged in praying, reading the Quraan Shareef, reciting Zikr or are in a lecture. Do not make Salaam if someone is saying the Azaan and Iqamah or when the khuthbah is being said. Do not greet those that are in the toilet, bath and those who are reciting Naats or eating. Do not make Salaam to those who are in the Masjid and are reading the Quraan Shareef or making Zikr, or waiting for the Salaah as this is not the time for greeting nor is it necessaery to answer the greeting. Do not greet those who are teaching or talking about religion. Jazakallah Khairan for reading. Fi Aminillah Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

  19. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Jealousy is such a wicked and destructive quality that it steals mans peace and comfort away from him. It causes him spiritual destruction and destroys his self esteem and allows him to compromise all other principals and ethics. A jealous person is never in peace. He spends his entire life burning in the flames of jealousy, envying all those around him. The beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallamsaid, Jealousy devours good deeds like fire burns out dry wood. There are numerous reasons why a person becomes jealous of another person. From amongst these, there are seven well known reasons. *The very first reason is why a person becomes jealous of another is due to hatred and malice that he harbours for the said person. *The second reason is based on pride and arrogance. *The third reason is based on power and position. Such a person wishes to be a leader of everyone around him and becomes jealous when anyone surpasses him in position or power. *The fourth reason is based on mere evil, where the person thinks that only he is worthy of such and such things. He feels that no one else is worthy of these things except himself. *The fifth reason is based on fear of losing. In this case, the person fears that if others super cede him in business and any other field, then they will overpower him and be regarded as more successful than him. *The Sixth reason is based on knowledge and wisdom. The person in this category feels that there is none wiser and more knowledgeable than him and none has the ability to be wiser than him. He thus envies everyone that he feels is wiser than him. *The seventh and final reason is based on negative nature. It is the person's nature to be jealous of others and cause harm to them. Such a person is the worst of all and thrives on jealousy. A jealous person always tries to harm others and cause discomfort to others, but he in turn causes more harm to himself than to anyone else. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala protect us and prevent us from any kind of jealousy ameen summa ameen. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

  23. Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam 1.Knowledge that is not acted upon 2.The deed that has neither sincerity nor is based on following the righteous examples of others 3.Money that is hoarded, as the owner neither enjoys it during this life nor obtains any reward for it in the Hereafter 4.The heart that is empty of love and longing for Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and his Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and of seeking closeness to them. 5.A body that does not obey and serve Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. 6.Loving Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala without following His orders or seeking His pleasure 7.Time that is not spent in expiating sins or seizing opportunities to do good 8.A mind that thinks about useless matters 9.Serving those who do not bring you close to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and his Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, nor benefit you in your life 10.Hoping and fearing whoever is under the authority of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and in His hand; while he cannot bring any benefit or harm to himself, nor death, nor life; nor can he resurrect himself. However the greater of these matters are wasting the heart and wasting time. Wasting the heart is done by preferring this worldly life over the Hereafter, and wasting time is done by having incessant hope. Destruction occurs by following one’s desires and having incessant hope, while all goodness is found in following the right path and preparing oneself to meet Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. 25. ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Abdullah Jaabir bin Abdullah Radi Allahu anhu narrates that, ''the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam once sent three hundred of us against the Quraish and Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah Radi Allahu anhu was chosen as our commander. We were also given a small bag of dates as our means of food for the journey. Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah Radi Allahu anhu used to give each one of us a single date every day. (When he was asked as to how they used to survive on merely a single date everyday, he replied that they used to ###### the date like a little child does and used to drink water thereafter. This was sufficient for the entire day and night). We used to also break the leaves which the camels eat with our spears and after soaking this in water, we used to eat these leaves. We were once travelling on the coast when from afar we saw a hump on the shore like a hump of sand. When we approached near we saw that it was a dead fish. Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah Radi Allahu anhu said, ''This is dead.'' Then he added, ''No, we have been sent by the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and have left on the path of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala . You people are also suffering from hunger, therefore you may eat this.'' We managed on this for an entire month and we were three hundred till all of us became satisfied. I remember continuously taking a handful of flesh from its eye cavity. We also cut pieces of flesh the size of buffalo from the fish. The eye cavity of the fish was so large that Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah Radi Allahu anhu made thirteen of us sit within this cavity (and we all fitted inside). We took one rib and made it stand up like a bow and (actually) rode a large saddled camel under it. We also took some dry meat with us to act as provisions for the journey. When we arrived in Madina shareef and presented ourselves to The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam , we made mention of this incident. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, ‘That was food which Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala had created for you. Do you have any of that meat still left? If you have, then let me eat some also' We sent the meat to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and they consumed this meat.'' (Sahih Muslim, Volume 2, Page 137, Hadith no. 1935) The incident that you have just read has been called ''Saiful Bahr'' or ''Jayshul Usrah'' by Islamic historians. The commander of the Muslims on this occasion was Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah Radi Allahu anhu one of the ten among the ''Ash'arah Mubasharrah'', (meaning those ten companions who were given notice of paradise while in this world). The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam had actually given him the beloved title of ‘Ameenul Ummah', (the Muslim's trustworthy person) SUBHANALLAH AZZAWAJAL. He accepted Islam initially through the single handed effort of Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique Radi Allahu anhu . He was extremely brave, brave-hearted, a towering figure and his blessed face was thin due to continuous hunger. During the battle of Uhud when two metal spikes embedded themselves on the blessed cheek of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah Radi Allahu anhu was the one who removed them from the beautiful face of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam by pulling them out with his own teeth.
