  2. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAHSalla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam This story is on the Prophet Muhammad's (salAllahu alayhi wassalaam) Night Journey to Jerusalem (The Isra'): The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wassalaam) smelled a very nice odour. He asked Angel Jibril (alayhis salam) about this pleasant scent and Angel Jibril (alayhis salam)informed him this good smell was coming from the grave of the woman whose duty used to be to comb Pharaoh's daughter's hair. This woman was a good, pious believer. One day, as she was combing Pharaoh's daughter's hair, the comb fell from her hand.At this she said, "Bismillah."The Pharaoh's daughter asked her, "Do you have a God other than my father?" The woman said, "Yes. My Lord and the Lord of your father is Allah."Pharaoh's daughter told her father what had happened. Pharaoh demanded this woman blaspheme and leave Islam, and not be a Muslim anymore, but she refused. At that, Pharaoh threatened to kill her children. He brought a great pot of water and built a great fire under it. When the water boiled, Pharaoh brought her children and started to drop them into that pot one after the other.Throughout all this, the woman remained steadfast to Islam - and refused to leave Islam, even when Pharaoh reached her youngest child -- a little boy still breast feeding -- but she felt pity for him. At that, Allah enabled this child to speak. He said to his mother, "O Mother, be patient. The torture of the Hereafter is far more severe than the torture of this life, and do not be reluctant, because you are right." At this the woman requested Pharaoh collect her bones and the bones of her children and bury them in the same grave. Pharaoh promised her that -- then dropped her into that boiling water. She died as a martyr. The good odour the Prophet ( Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) smelled coming from her grave is an indication of her high status SubhanAllah Azzawajal

    Ala'Hazrat And Sunnat-e-Mustafa

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH A'la Hazrat, Imam-e-Ahle Sunnat, Imam Ahmed Raza Khan (radi Allahu anhu) laid great emphasis on the followance of the Sunnah of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (salal laahu alaihi wa sallam). The following account clearly describes A'la Hazrat's (radi Allahu anhu) great trust and faith upon the Sunnah. A'la Hazrat (radi Allahu anhu) narrates; there was once a rumour in Bareilly that the Plague had appeared. Co-incidentally, during this time, my gums became extremely inflamed. It continued to such proportions that it became difficult for me to open my mouth. I also had a high fever, coupled with inflamed glands. The doctor, who was called, looked at me closely for a few minutes. He exclaimed that I had the Plague. I could not speak at that moment, or else I could have told him that his diagnosis was incorrect and false. I was certain that I did not have the Plague or any other major disease, simply because I had already recited a Dua as explained by Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (salal laahu alaihi wa sallam) who said that if one sees a serious and deadly illness, he should recite the following Dua, which would protect the person from such an illness. I had, therefore, recited this dua: 'Al hamdu lil laahil lazi aafini mim mab tilaaka bihi wa fad dalni 'ala katheeram mimam khalaqa tafdeelan.' Whenever I saw a serious illness, I recited this Dua, therefore, I was protected against it, including the Plague. Thereafter, with extreme respect, I proclaimed aloud, 'O Allah! Show that the words of your beloved Habeeb (salal laahu alaihi wa sallam) are true, and that the words of the doctor is false'. At that moment a voice on my right advised me to use the Miswaak and black pepper. With a little difficulty, I performed brushing with the Miswaak and kept the black pepper on my tongue as a tablet. Infinite, indeed, is the Mercy of Almighty Allah! Within a few minutes, I had gained my strength and sent the doctor away by proving that his diagnosis was false and baseless." Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
  10. Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Hazrat Jaabir (radi Allahu anhu) reported the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) as saying, "When from amongst you, someone drops any food, he should pick it up and eat it and he should not leave it for Shaitaan. One should not wipe his fingers with a towel before licking them, since he does not know in which portion of his food the barkat is present." (Muslim)

  13. Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) states that the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "I swear by Allah in whose possession is my life, that none of you is a believer and none of you will enter paradise, and none from amongst you will become a true believer until you do not love each other. And should I not show you the manner through which you will tend to love one another Make the conveying of Salaams a tradition amongst you." (Muslim)
