  3. Ashraf ALI THANWI KI IBARAT NABI KAREEM S.A.W.W KO HAZIR O NAZIR BAYan krtin hain “(O Prophet!) you are the one who reveals what is hidden in our heart”. Now this is clear that Shaykh Ashraf ali thanvee al deobandi is attributing the knwoledge of unseen to prophet ! ( Hayatul Muslimeen, page 9 ) ( how else will prophet come to know the secret of the heart??) Please recall , Imam e rabbani of the deobandis , Shaykh Rashid Gangohi said “any one who says prophet was given the knowledge of the unseen , then he is in shirk” ( Fatwa Rashdiya) If the fatwa of imam e rabbani of the deoabandis is correct , then shaykh Ashraf Ali Thanvi commiited shirk! Wahabi Ashraf Ali Thanvi further writes: “(O Prophet) you are the one who provides relief from difficulty to those in need” Is it not clear that Shaykh Ashraf Ali Thanvi is calling prophet as Mushkil Kusha? (remover of difficulty) The “shahid” of the deobandis Ismail Dehalvi, who killed innocent sunni muslims , wrote in his tafwiyatul iman “if a person considers anyone besides Allah to provide relief (from difficulty), then they are in shirk”. So now Shaykh Ashraf Ali Thanvi has commited shirk as per Ismail Dehalvi. 3. Hakim Al Ummah of the deobandis , Shaykh Ashraf ali thanvi writes ” ( O prophet! ) if you hide (ghayab) or become absent then death will arrive and world will go into darkness” Here Shaykh Ashraf Ali Thanvi is accepting prophet to be “Hazir and Nazir”!

  5. To say "YA" (O) with Prophet[A.S],Awliyas[rah] after their death is allowed Proof 1: From Sahih bukhari Abu baker calling Prophet as "YA" After his death from Sahih bukhari Bukhari Vol 2 book 23 Hadith 333 Narrated 'Aisha : Abu Bakr came riding his horse from his dwelling place in As-Sunh. He got down from it, entered the Mosque and did not speak with anybody till he came to me and went direct to the Prophet, who was covered with a marked blanket. Abu Bakr uncovered his face. He knelt down and kissed him and then started weeping and said, "My father and my mother be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Prophet!(Ya Rasool Allah) Allah will not combine two deaths on you. You have died the death which was written for you."(hadith continues ) Here from bukhari even Abu Baker used YA RASOOL ALLAH after Prophet's (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) death, Why did Abu baker (Radhiallah) used the word Ya Rasool Allah (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) after His (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) death if it was Haram or a forbidden act Proof 2 A Sahabi (radhitallah anho) and 2nd Caliph Hadrat Umar (radhitallah anho) benefiting from intercession of Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), أخبرنا أبو نصر بن قتادة، وأبو بكر الفارسي قالا: حدثنا أبو عمر بن مطر، حدثنا إبراهيم بن علي الذهلي، حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى، حدثنا أبو معاوية، عن الأعمش، عن أبي صالح، عن مالك قال: أصاب الناس قحط في زمن عمر بن الخطاب، فجاء رجل إلى قبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. During the reign of Hazrat Umar (رضى الله عنه) a draught badly threatened the ummah. A person went to Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)’s grave and sought for help saying YA RAsool Allah (O PRophet ). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came into his dream, gave him "basharat" (glad tiding) of rain, and also asked him to warn Hazrat Umar (رضى الله عنه) about the coming threats. Hazrat Umar (رضى الله عنه), when listened his dream wept and assured that he would remain careful as much as possible. And if they had come to you, when they had wronged their souls, and asked forgiveness of Allah, and the Messenger also had asked forgiveness for them, they (on the basis of this means and intercession) would have surely found Allah the Granter of repentance, extremely Merciful. Allah is exhorting the sinners and evildoers that when they commit sins and errors they should call on the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and ask forgiveness from Allah. They should also request the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) to pray for them. When they do so, Allah will turn to them and forgive them and He will show mercy to them. That is why He used the words la-wajadullāha tawwāban-rahīmā (they (on the basis of this means and intercession) would have surely found Allah the Granter of repentance, extremely Merciful). Many have stated this tradition. One of them is Abū Mansūr Sabbāgh who writes in his book al-Hikāyāt-ul-mashhūrah that, according to ‘Utbī, once he was sitting beside the Prophet’s grave when a bedouin came and he said, “Peace be on you, O Allah’s Messenger. I have heard that Allah says: ‘(O beloved!) And if they had come to you, when they had wronged their souls, and asked forgiveness of Allah, and the Messenger also had asked forgiveness for them, they (on the basis of this means and intercession) would have surely found Allah the Granter of repentance, extremely Merciful.’ I have come to you, asking forgiveness for my sins and I make you as my intermediary before my Lord and I have come to you for this purpose.” . Then he recited these verses: , يا خَيْرَ مَنْ دُفِنَتْ بِالقاعِ أَعْظُمُهُ فَطابَ مِنْ طِيْبِهِنَّ القاعُ والأَكَمُ نَفْسِي الفِداءُ لِقَبْرٍ أَنْتَ ساكِنُهُ فيهِ العَفافُ وفيهِ الجُودُ والكَرَمُ “O(YA), the most exalted among the buried people who improved the worth of the plains and the hillocks! May I sacrifice my life for this grave which is made radiant by you, (the Prophet,) the one who is (an embodiment) of mercy and forgiveness.” Then the bedouin went away and I fell asleep. In my dream I saw the Holy Prophet He said to me: O ‘Utbī, the bedouin is right, go and give him the good news that Allah has forgiven his sins (Tafsir ibn e khatir for 4:64 ) , http://www.altafsir.com/Tafasir.asp?...&UserProfile=0 Also recorded in ► Bayhaqī in Shu‘ab-ul-īmān (3:495-6#4178) ►Ibn Qudāmah in al-Mughnī (3:557). ►Nawawī in al-Adhkār (pp. 92-3). ►Ibn ‘Asākir in Tahdhīb tārīkh Dimashq al-kabīr popularly known as Tārīkh/Tahdhīb Ibn ‘Asākir as quoted by Subkī in Shifā’-us-siqām fī ziyārat khayr-il-anām (pp. 46-7) ►Ibn Hajar Haythamī in al-Jawhar-ul-munazzam (p. 51). He shall destroy the cross, slay the swine, eradicate discord and grudges, and money shall be offered to him but he will not accept it. Then he shall stand at my grave side and say: Ya Muhammad! and I will answer him. ►Ibn Hajar al-`Asqalani cites it in al-Matalib al-`aliya (Kuwait, 1393/1973) ►Abu Ya`la relates it with a sound (sahih) chain in his Musnad Volume No. 11, Page No. 462, Published by Dar ul Kutb al-iLmiyyah; Proof 6 Mentioned in the Qur'an: Quran states: So Salih left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the message for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but ye love not good counselors!"(Quran 7:79) , The word "O my people! is mentioned for those who died, it surely conveys the idea that they(kafirs) cannot only Hear but also alive in their grave , Tafsir ibn e Khateer Says for 7:79 هذا تقريع من صالح عليه السلام لقومه، لما أهلكهم الله بمخالفتهم إياه، وتمردهم على الله، وإبائهم عن قبول الحق، وإعراضهم عن الهدى إلى العمى، قال لهم صالح ذلك بعد هلاكهم، تقريعاً وتوبيخاً، وهم يسمعون ذلك، كما ثبت في الصحيحين: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لما ظهر على أهل بدر، Translation: These were the words of admonishment which Salih exchanged with his nation after “ALLAH HAD DESTROYED THEM” for denying him and also becoming renegades against him, rejecting to accept the Haqq (truth) plus giving preference to misguidance over guidance. Hadrat Salih (a.s) said these words after they were “DESTROYED AND THEY HEARD THEM (WORDS) TOO” In relevance to this It is narrated in the 2 books of Sahih (i.e. Bukhari and Muslim) that the Messenger defeated the kufaar in Badr … (then Imam Ibn Kathir mentions the sahih hadith of dead hearing the cal; as mentioned before) [Tafsir Ibn Kathir under 7:79 for this Quranic verse] Arabic source http://www.altafsir.com/Tafasir.asp?...0&LanguageId=1 Proof 7 And , Narrated Abu Talha: "On the day of Badr, the Prophet ordered that the corpses of twenty four leaders of Quraish should be thrown into one of the dirty dry wells of Badr. When he halted at the edge of the well, he addressed the corpses of the Quraish infidels by their names and their fathers' names, "O [YA] so-and-so, son of so-and-so and O so-and-so, son of so-and-so! Would it have pleased you if you had obeyed Allah and His Apostle? We have found true what our Lord promised us. Have you too found true what your Lord promised you? "'Umar said, "O Allah's Apostle! You are speaking to bodies that have no souls!" Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, you do not hear, what I say better than they do." [sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 314] above the Aqah Karim (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم has used the word YA (O) for dead non muslims which is clear proof that it was can used even after death as dead are alive .So if Sahih hadiths prove using it for Dead kafirs than how can one call using it for Aqah Karim (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) as Shirk [Naoozbila] Proof 8 And Anas b. Malik reported that: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) let the dead bodies of the unbelievers who fought in Badr (lie unburied) for three days. He then came to them and sat by their side and called them and said: O Abu Jahl b. Hisham, O Umayya b. Khalaf, O Utba b. Rab'ila, O Shaiba b. Rabi'a, have you not found what your Lord had promised with you to be correct? As for me, I have found the promises of my Lord to be (perfectly) correct. Umar listened to the words of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Allah's Messenger, how do they listen and respond to you? They are dead and their bodies have decayed. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, what I am saying to them, even you cannot hear more distinctly than they, but they lack the power to reply. Then'he commanded that they should be buried in the well of Badr. [sahih Muslim, Book 040, Number 6869] , Note , Here the Prophet (saleh ala waalihi wasalam) said , even you cannot hear more distinctly than they , Hence it proves that even Kafirs who are Dead can hear more clearly then alive can or equally let alone be Muslims and Prophets (aleh islam) , . Rasool Allah [saleh ala waalihi wasalam] says "O Abu Jahl..... O Umayya..... O Utba..." for Kafirs after they died, Then why cant we use "Ya Rasool Allah [saww] for our Beloved Prophet (saleh ala walihi wasalam) after his death , Proof 9 Sahih Hadith states: Sayyindina lbn Abbas narrated that Allah’s Messenger — passed by some graves of Madinah. He turned his face towards them, and said: Peace be on you, O people of the grave![ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُبُورِ] May Allah forgive us and you. You have gone before us and we are to follow. [sunan tirmidhi Chapter 59 Hadith # 1055] See how Aqah karim [salehalawaalihi wasalam] taught the whole ummah a Dua to recite for the dead or near the graves using the word "YA" Proof 10 : What does Every muslim Recites in Salah 5 times a day Thats the translation of Attahiyat recited in every salat "All the best compliments and the prayers and the good things are for Allah. Peace and Allah's Mercy and Blessings be on you, O (YA) Prophet! Peace be on us and on the pious slaves of Allah, I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I also testify that Muhammad is Allah's slave and His Apostle."[end] so all muslims say , O (YA) Prophet every day in salat, even after His (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) death, is it shirk , is ummah doing shirk ?? These all arguments are from Sahih hadiths and most authentic Wahabi/salafi tafsirs [e.g Tafseer ibn kathir ]. And these prove without a doubt that saying YA for Prophets [aleh islam] and Great Pious Muslims [awliyas] is a Sunnah. Proof # 11 Now coming to other Salafs [taba tabeen] even Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal ( رحمة الله عليه ) endorsed istighatha Ibn Kathir reports: قال الامام أحمد حججت خمس حجج منها ثلاث راجلا أنفقت في احدى هذه الحجج ثلاثين درهما قال وقد ضللت في بعضها عن الطريق وأنا ماش فجعلت أقول يا عباد الله دلوني على الطريق فلم أزل أقول ذالك حتى وقفت على الطريق( البداية والنهاية 10-418 Imam Ahmad( رحمة الله عليه ) told: I have performed hajj (pilgrimage) five times of which three were on foot. I have spent 30 Dirhams in one Hajj. In one of my pilgrimages I lost my way. And I was walking. Then I began to tell “ O the servants of Allah, help meon my way. And I continued this till reach the way. (al bidaya wal nihaya) Hadith # 12 Abdullah bin Masud [ra] has narrated that the Prophet(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: When you lose your means of transport in a jungle, you should call: ‘O creatures of Allah! Help me, recover my transport! O creatures of Allah! Help me, recover my transport!’ There are many of Allah’s creatures on this earth. They will help you recover it. The man met Ibn Hunayf and complained to him about the matter - this being after the death (wisal) of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and after the caliphates of Abu Bakr and Umar - so Uthman ibn Hunayf, who was one of the Companions who collected hadiths and was learned in the religion of Allah, said: "Go to the place of ablution and perform ablution (wudu), then come to the mosque, perform two rak'as of prayer therein, and say: 'O Allah, I ask You and turn to You through our Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O Muhammad (Ya Muhammad), I turn through you to my Lord, that He may fulfill my need,' and mention your need. Then come so that I can go with you [to the caliph Uthman]." So the man left and did as he had been told, then went to the door of Uthman ibn Affan (Allah be pleased with him), and the doorman came, took him by the hand, brought him to Uthman ibn Affan, and seated him next to him on a cushion. 'Uthman asked, "What do you need?" and the man mentioned what he wanted, and Uthman accomplished it for him, then he said, "I hadn't remembered your need until just now," adding, "Whenever you need something, just mention it." Then, the man departed, met Uthman ibn Hunayf, and said to him, "May Allah reward you! He didn't see to my need or pay any attention to me until you spoke with him." Uthman ibn Hunayf replied, "By Allah, I didn't speak to him, but I have seen a blind man come to the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) and complain to him of the loss of his eyesight. The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, "Can you not bear it?' and the man replied, 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not have anyone to lead me around, and it is a great hardship for me.' The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) told him, 'Go to the place of ablution and perform ablution (wudu), then pray two rak'as of prayer and make the supplications.'" Ibn Hunayf went on, "By Allah, we didn't part company or speak long before the man returned to us as if nothing had ever been wrong with him."" Answer : This verse has more of a methaphoric meaning, secondly its quoted for the kafirs not muslims in this case Next verse says Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayât, and who have submitted [ Quran 27:81 and 30:53] this doesn't only refutes the argument regarding first verse which some put forward that dead cannot hear in any circumstances but also makes it clear that muslims can hear as Allah says himself in the next verse , Tafsir ibn e khateer for verse 27:80/1 and 30:52/3 says { إِنَّكَ لاَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ } أي: لا تسمعهم شيئاً ينفعهم، فكذلك هؤلاء، على قلوبهم غشاوة، وفي آذانهم وقر الكفر، ولهذا قال تعالى: { وَلاَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْاْ مُدْبِرِينَ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَادِي ٱلْعُمْيِ عَن ضَلالَتِهِمْ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلاَّ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ } أي: إنما يستجيب لك من هو سميع بصير، السمع والبصر النافع في القلب والبصيرة، الخاضعُ لله ولما جاء عنه على ألسنة الرسل عليهم السلام. (Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear) meaning, you cannot cause them to hear anything that will benefit them. The same applies to those over whose hearts is a veil and in whose ears is deafness of disbelief. Allah says: (nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. Nor can you lead the blind out of their error. You can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat, so they submit (became Muslims).) meaning, those who have hearing and insight will respond to you, those whose hearing and sight are of benefit to their hearts and who are humble towards Allah and to the Message that comes to them through the mouths of the Messengers, may peace be upon them.[end] Arabic link http://www.altafsir.com/Tafasir.asp?...0&LanguageId=1 From above it seems these verses are not for those in Grave even , its talking about non muslims in the world who don't get hidaya and don't listen to word of Allah with an open heart, whos Hearts are dead, __________________ An incident about Shaikh Shibli (Rehmatullahi Alaih) from Fazail e Aamal which has Durood with Yaa Muhammad (Sallalahu Alaih Wa Sallam ) in it... Allāma Sakhāwī (may Allāh have mercy on him) relates that Abū Bakr bin Muḥammad (may Allāh have mercy on him) said, “I was seated with Abū Bakr ibn Mujāhid (may Allāh have mercy on him) when the Shaykh of all shaykhs, Shiblī (may Allāh have mercy on him) came. On seeing him, Abū Bakr ibn Mujāhid (may Allāh have mercy on him) stood up, embraced him and kissed him on his forehead. I asked, ‘O my master, you behave in this manner with Shiblī whilst on the other hand, you and the scholars of Baghdad consider him a madman.’ Abū Bakr (may Allāh have mercy on him) said, ‘I only did what I saw the Noble Prophet(Sallallahu A’lihi Wassalam) doing.’ He then related his dream to me, saying, ‘I saw Shiblī (may Allāh have mercy on him) attending the blessed gathering of the Noble Prophet(Sallallahu A’lihi Wassalam) . The Noble Prophet(Sallalahu Aalihi Wassalam) stood and kissed him on the forehead. When I asked the Noble Prophet(Sallallahu A’lihi Wassalam) regarding this, he told me, ‘He recites the following verse after every prayer and confers blessings upon me 177 thereafter.’ (In another narration, he would recite this verse after every obligatory (farḍ) prayer and the following blessings three times thereafter)
  6. Guidance from Qur'an Al Kareem: To call the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) by way of Nida (invocation) to draw his holy attention is confirmed through the verses of the Holy Quran while mentioning the activities of the Angels and the practices and rituals of the Ummah. The Holy Quran has addressed the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) on many occasions drawing his holy attention to certain specific purpose or situation where his holy attention was needed as an authority for its solution or implimentation. Such phrases of Nida wereYa Ayyuhal Muzzammil, Ya Ayyuhal Muddassir, Ya Ayyuhan Nabi, Ya Ayyuhar Rasool etc. Other Exlated Prophets were are also called by their names, e.g. "Ya Musa ," "Ya Esa," "Ya Yahya" etc. Witness of Ahadeeth ash-Sharif: 1. Imām Tabrāni Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.360/970), in his Mu'jam records the following incident: The Khalifa was busy with some other work and he did not pay any attention to his need. Thereafter, this person went to Sayyiduna 'Uthman bin Hanif Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho and complained about the matter. Sayyiduna 'Uthman bin Hanif Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho ordered the man to perform Wudu (ablution) and go to the Musjid and offer two Rak'ats of Nafil Salāh. He then ordered the man to recite the following Du'a and mention his need to Allāh SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala: “O Allāh SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala, I beg of You and I seek Your assistance, through the Wasila (Medium) of Your beloved Prophet SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam who is the Prophet of Mercy. 'O Muhammad!' I turn to Allāh SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala with your Wasila so that my needs be fulfilled.” After doing this, Sayyiduna ''Uthman bin Hanif Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho ordered the man to now visit Sayyiduna 'Uthman al-Ghani Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho and relay his problem. When he came to the door of Amir al-Mo'minin, the doorkeeper held his hand and took him straight to the great Khalifa. He was shown great respect and the Khalifa made him sit besides him on his personal platform. The Khalifa compassionately spoke to him and fulfilled all his needs. He then said to the man, “Why did you not inform me earlier of your needs? In future if you require anything, come directly to me.” After they had left the court of the Khalifa, the man thanked Sayyiduna 'Uthman bin Hanif Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho for recommending him to the Khalifa. However, Sayyiduna 'Uthman bin Hanif Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho said that he had not even approached or spoken to the Khalifa concerning this matter. He then said: “By Allāh SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala, I saw Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam teaching this Du'a to a blind man (Sahaba) who read it. Miraculously, the blind man’s eyesight was restored. He then approached us and before we could even complete our conversation, it appeared to us as if he had never been blind.” Mu'jam al Kabeer lil Tibraani, Vol 7, Page 410, Hadith 8232 Mu'jam al Sagheer lil Tibraani, Vol 2, Page 106, Hadith 507 Al-Targheeb wal Tahzeeb, Mustafa al Baabi , Vol 1, Page 274 Majma'az Zawa'id, Dar al Kutb [berut - Lebanon], Vol 2, Page 279 Imām Tabrāni Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.360/970) and Imām Munzari Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.656/1258) have both recorded this Hadith as authentic. They said والحديث صحيح (and this Hadith is sound). 2. Imām Bukhāri Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho in his book, Kitāb al Adāb al Muf'rad, Imām Ibn-Sinni Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.364/975) and Imām Ibn Bash'kuwal Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.578/1183) have also recorded the following incident: قيل له: اذْكُر أحَبَّ النَّاسِ إليك قال: يا محمدُ، فَبَسَطَها Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn 'Umar Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho once suffered from a cramp. Someone advised him to remember the person whom he loved the most. He proclaimed loudly, “Ya Muhammada!” He was immediately relieved. [al Adāb al Muf'rad, Page 250, Hadith 964] 3. Imām Nawawi Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho in his commentary of the Sahih Muslim, and also in Kitāb al-Azkār, records that some individuals were sitting in the company of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn 'Abbās Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho, when suddenly one of them suffered from cramps. The Noble Companion advised the man to remember the person whom he loved the most. The man screamed, “Ya Muhammada!” He was immediately cured. There are many As’hāb who narrate incidents of similar nature. [Al-Adhkar, Dar al Kitab al Arabi (Berut - Lebanon), Page 271] 4. Substantiating this, ‘Allama Shahāb al-Din Khafāji Misri Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.1070/1660) states in his book, Nasim al-Riyād, commentary of Shifā by Imām Qādi Ayād Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.544/1149), that: It is a common practice of the people of Madina al-Munawwara to proclaim “Ya Muhammada!” in times of difficulty and pain. [Nasim al-Riyād Sharha Shifā, Vol 3, Page 55] 5. Ummul Mu’mineen Sayyida ‘Aisha Siddiqa Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha narrates that Rasulullah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam said: When Jibra’il ‘alaihis salam bought the news of Prophethood, all the trees and stones were saying, “Assalatu wasSalamu ‘Alayka Ya Rasulallah”. [Majma ‘al-Zawa’id, Vol 8, Page 260] 6. According to the first Hadith in the Mishkaat, Hadrat Jibrail addressed the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) by name viz. يا محمد أخبرني عن الإسلام 'O Muhammad' SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam tell me something about Islam. [Mishkat, Vol 1, Page 1, Hadith 1] 7. In the same Mishkaat in the Chapter about the Wisal (Wafat) of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) it is that Malak al-Maut (the Angel of death) came to him and said, يا محمد إن الله أرسلني إليك 'O Muhammad' SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam Allah has sent me to you[Mishkat, Vol 3, Page 299, Hadith 5972] It was also by way of Nida seeking permission for the mission for which he was sent. 8. There is a hadith in the Ibne Majah, Babus Salatil Hajat, in which it is reported that one day a blind man appeared in the presence of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) and begged for a dua. He was taught the following dua by way of invocation (nida) O Allah! I beseech Your help and turn to You with the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) . Ya Muhammad SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam I turn to my Allah with your blessings in connection of my need in the hope that with your blessings my desire shall be fulfilled O Allah! accept the interecession of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) on my behalf". [sahih Ibn Majah, Vol 4, Page 367, Hadith 1448] This Dua (invocation) has been taught to the Muslims for observation and abiding by it till the Day of Judgement. This contains the prayer as well as invocation in the Presence of Almighty Allah with the interecession and through the Holy Prophet Hadrat Muhammad SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam. 9. It is said in the the Muslim under the Hadithil Hijrah as reported by Hadrat Baraa that when the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) entered the city of Madinah Munawwarah Then the women and the men climbed on their roof tops, while the children and slaves scattered in streets and lanes all chanting in chorus of their groups 'Ya Muhammad Ya Rasulallah, Ya Muhammad Ya Rasulallah'. [sahih Muslim, Vol 19, Page 112, Hadith 7707] This is sample proof of the Naara-e-Risalat and the Companions also recited the holy Naara or slogan. It is also said as a description of this Hadith that the Companions also took out a precession when the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) entered the Holy city of Madina on Migrtion from the Makka. 10. It is said that it was the practice among the Companions that whenever the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) entered Madina after a long journey they would receive him on the outskirts of the city in a procession of welcome in his honour... It is said that on the angels brought the Tabut e Sakina in a processin... It is reported that the auspicious time of the birth of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) and in the Meraj Sharif the angels received him and congratulated him in the form of procession. Obviously the following of some good practice and procedure is a source of blessing and to continue it with pious intentions is also beneficial for the people who participate in them as it enhances the love an dignity for the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam). Act and Belief of the Noble SaHaba: 1. Imam Fakhr al-Din Raazi recorded in his Tafsir al Kabir: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho expressed his will that my Funeral (Janaza) should be taken to the blessed shrine of Rasulullah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam and then it should be said, “AsSalamu ‘Alayka Ya Rasulallah, Abu Bakr is present at your door”. The companions followed his advice. The doors of the shrine opened by themselves and a voice came from the blessed grave saying, bring the beloved to his beloved. [Tafsir al-Kabir, Vol 5, Page 475] 2. Imam Zain al-‘Abideen Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (son of Imam Husain Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) called out thus when proceeding towards Yazeed: O the Mercy of the worlds! come to the help of Zainul Abidin, He is in the clutches of the tyrrants in the crowds of the people. [sirr al-Shahadatayn – Page 72] 3. Sayyida Zainab Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anha, the sister of Sayyiduna Imam Husain Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho, proclaimed at Karbala: [al-Bidaya wa al-Nihaya, Vol 8, Page 193] 4. When Sayyiduna Khalid bin Waleed Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho clashed with Musailma Kaddhab, at one point the Muslims were faltering. When Syeduna Khalid Ibn Waleed saw this: He then proclaimed according to the slogan of the Muslims and the slogan of that day was Ya Muhammadah. [al-Bidaya wa al-Nihaya, Vol 6, Page 324] 5. After the demise of Sayyiduna ‘Umar al-Faruq Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho in 18 AH, there was a severe drought due to which Sayyiduna Bilal Ibn al Harith proclaimed, “Ya Muhammadah”. [al-Bidaya wa al-Nihaya, Vol 7, Page 91] 6. When the companions would arrive in the presence of Rasulullah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam, they would say Assalatu wasSalamu ‘Alayka Ya Rasulallah. [Naseem al-Riyad Sharh Shifa’ Qadi Iyad – Vol 3, Page 485] 7. The slogan of Khalid bin Waleed and the companions at the battle of Yarmook was: O Muhammad O Mansoor, seek news of your ummah. [Nasikh al-Tawareekh, Waqidi] Sayings of the Glorious Ulama of Islam: 1. It is said in the Qasidah Burdah Sharif. O the Best of the Creatures! there is none for me whose refuge Should I seek in my general and common misfortunes. [Qasida al Burda, Chapter 10, Couplet 1] 2. Hadrat Imam Azam Abu Hanifa in his Qasidah Noman: O the Leader of the leaders! I have come in your presence seeking your pleasures And I give myself under your protection and refuge. [Al Mustarif, Qasida Nau'maniyah, Vol 1, Page 446] In these verses there is Nida to the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) as well as request for his help. These solicitations have been said after the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) had left the world. Besides, all the Muslims recite the 'Attahiyaat' in their daily prayers which contains the ever blissful phrase 'Assalamo Alaika Ya Ayyhan Nabi'o wa Rah matullah wa Barakatuhu.' These may be regarded as individual invocations; But if a multitude of the homage prayers to the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) say in unison as Naara -e- Risalat 'Ya RasoolALLAH' it will be equally permisible even praise worthy because in that event it will be a demonstration of the esteem and honour of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) by the Muslims in their unity and solidarity as a community. 3. In Fatawa Alamgiri, Vol One, Kitab al Hajj relating to etquettes and properiety for visiting the Holy Shrines of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) it is : Then say 'Peace be on you O Prophet of Allah, I give evidence that you are the Apostle of Allah'. [Fatawa Alamgiri, Kitab al Hajj, Vol 1] 4. Sayyidi Jamāl bin ‘Abdullah bin 'Umar Makki Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho, in his Fatāwa states: I was questioned about those people who in times of difficulty proclaim “Ya Rasūlallah, Ya 'Ali, Ya Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qādir,” and whether these proclamations were permissible in Islām. The great scholar replied: “Yes, these proclamations are permissible. To call to them is permissible including using their names as Wasila. This is allowed in the light of the Shari’ah. Such an act is desirable and approved. Only the stubborn and arrogant would oppose or question this reality. These individuals are certainly unfortunate and deprived of the Barkāt (blessing) of the Awliya Allāh”. [Fatawa Jamāl bin ‘Abdullah bin 'Umar Makki] 5. Imām ‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn Jowzi Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.597/1201), in his book, Oyun al Hikāyat, narrates a strange and amazing incident of three brothers who loved Jihād so much that they always engaged in it. Once they were engaged in Jihād with the Christians of Rome. They were captured and the Romans began torturing them. The Roman King told them that if they adopted Christianity, he would set them free. The brothers refused and instead proclaimed aloud, “Ya Muhammada!” [sharH as-Sudoor, Page 89] 6. Imām al Muhadithin Shaykh-e-Muhaqqiq ‘Abd al-Haqq Muhaddith Dehlawi Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.1052/1642), in his famous book, Akhbār al-Akh’yār fi Ahwal al-Abrar, mentions about Shaykh Baha’udin bin Ibra’him 'Ata’ullāh al-Ansāri al-Shattari Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.921/1516). The illustrious 'Ārif is the author of the famous book on Tasawwuf entitled Risālah Shat’tāriyya. He has recorded in his book a specific type of Zikr known as Zikr Kashf al-Arwāh. The great Master says: ذکرِ کشفِ ارواح یا احمد یا محمد در دو طریق ست ، یک طریق آنست یا احمد را در راستابگوید و یا محمد را درچپا بگوید و دردل ضرب کند یا رسول اﷲ طریق دوم آنست کہ یا احمد را در راستا گوید وچپا یا محمد و در دل و ہم کندیا مصطفٰی دیگر ذکر یا احمد یا محمد یا علی یا حسن یا حسین یا فاطمہ شش طرفی ذکر کندکشف جمیع ارواح شود دیگر اسمائے ملائکہ مقرب ہمیں تاثیر دارند یا جبریل، یا میکائیل یا اسرافیل یا عزرائیل چہار ضربی ، دیگر ذکر اسم شیخ یعنی بگوید یا شیخ یا شیخ ہزار بار بگوید کہ حرفِ نداء را ازدل بکشدطرف راستابرد و لفظ شیخ را در دل ضرب کند “There are two ways of making the Zikr of ‘Ya Ahmad’ and ‘Ya Muhammad’. The first way is to recite ‘Ya Ahmad’ from the right side and ‘Ya Muhammad’ from the left side, concentrating on the thought of ‘Ya Mustafa.’ The second method is to recite ‘Ya Ahmad, Ya 'Ali, Ya Hasan, Ya Husain, Ya Fatima’. This is to be read from all six directions. In other words, one should begin with ‘Ya Ahmad’ till the end. Thereafter, the next names and so on. By performing this Zikr in the specified manner, one will obtain the secrets of Kashf al-Arwah (Manifestation of the Souls). The Zikr of the names of Angels are performed in the same manner and has the same effect, namely ‘Ya Jibra’il, Ya Israfil, Ya Mika’il, Ya Izra’il.’ This is performed from all four sides and also results in attaining Kashf al-Arwah. Another method is by reciting ‘Ya Shaykh, Ya Shaykh’ one thousand times in the following manner. The person should pronounce the word, ‘Ya Shaykh’ from the right side of the heart and at the time of pronouncing the word ‘Shaykh’ he should concentrate on striking it on the heart (Dharb). By this method, one can also achieve Kashf Al-Arwah.” [Akhbār al-Akh’yār, Maktaba Nooriya Radawiya (Sukkar - Pakistan), Page 199 - NafHat al Uns, Page 462/463] From the House of the Opponents: 1. Shah Wali’Allāh Muhaddith Dehlawi Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (d.1180/1767), in his book, At’tib al Ni’gham fil Madh al-Sayyid al-'Arabi wal 'Ajam, comments on the state of ecstasy in the love for the Holy Prophet SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam. O Unique! Among those who can be depended on. O Unique! Among those who can be depended upon to eradicate difficulty. O Cherisher! Among those whose generosity showers more than rain. I indeed testify to the fact that at the time when my heart is engulfed in this dilemma, You are indeed the one who gives me assistance and consolation.”[At’tib al Ni’gham, Page 22] 2. In the commentary of the above verses, Shah Wali-Allāh Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho also writes about the difficult moments in which it is most necessary to seek assistance from the sacred Soul of the Holy Prophet Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho. At the beginning of this chapter, he writes: بارہا گواہی میدہم کہ تو پناہ دہندہ منی از ہجوم کردن مصیبتے وقتے کہ بخلاند در دل بدترین چنگالہارا “I cannot perceive any one besides the Holy Prophet SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam who stretches out a helping hand for a depressed person in times of calamities.” [At’tib al Ni’gham, Page 22] 3. Shah Wali-Allāh SubHanuhu wa Ta'alan his Madhiyā Hamziyya comments that in the august court of the Holy Prophet SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam one should consider oneself insignificant and inferior. With a broken heart and with total sincerity, one should call to the Prophet SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam in Du'a. The person will indeed attain Salvation if he states: ضارعاً بخضوع قلب و ذلّ وابتهال و التجاء رسول الله يا خير البرايا لذالك ابتغي يوم القضاء اذا ما حلّ حطب مدلهم فانت الحصن من كلّ البلاء اليك توجهي و بك استنادي و يك مطامعي وبك ارتحالي “O Rasūl of Allāh SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam! O Unique among the Creation! I seek your favour on the Day of Justice. On that Day when there will be a great test, only you, O Prophet of Allāh SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam! would give me security from all calamities. I have turned to you for salvation and placed my trust in you.” [At’tib al Ni’gham, Page 33] 4. Imam Shah Waliullah ‘Alaihir raHmah says that whoever reads the ‘Awrad FatHiya’ he will get a share from 1400 accomplished Awliya. The Awrad FatHiya contains the words: Ibn Qayyim (Imam of Wahabis/Deobandis) writes: Abu Bakr bin Mujahid saw a dream in which Hadrat Shibli ‘Alaihir rahmah was present in the court of Rasulullah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam. Rasulullah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam stood for and kissed Shibli in between his eyes. I asked, Ya Rasulallah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam! Why did you do this to Shibli? Rasulullah SallAllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam replied it is because after every prayer, Shibli reads Laqad Jaa’akum Rasoolum min Anfusikum (9:128) till the end of the Sura and then says“Sallallahu ‘Alayka Ya Rasulallah” thrice. [Jala’ al-Afham, ibn Qayyim] 6. Haji Imdadullah Muhajir Makki ‘Alaihir rahmah (the Pir and Murshid of the Deobandis) says there is no doubt in the validity of recitingAsSalatu wasSalamu ‘Alayka Ya Rasulallah. [imdad al-Mushtaq, Page 59] 7. Haji Imdadullah Muhajir Makki ‘Alaihir Rahmah says: Ya Muhammad Mustafa faryaad hai Ay Habeebe Kibriya faryaad hai Sakht mushkil mein phansa hoon aaj kal Ay mere mushkil kusha faryaad hai [Munajat Naala-e-Imdad] 8. Deobandit Shaykh al-Hadith Muhammad Zakariya Saharanpuri says that according to me, the following Durood and Salam should be recited at all places: AsSalatu wasSalamu ‘Alayka Ya Rasulallah AsSalatu wasSalamu ‘Alayka Ya Nabi Allah. [Fada’il A’maal, Durood Shareef, Page 702] 9. 7.
Scans Shah WaliULLAH MUHADDIS DEHLVI R.A TAU APKE OR HUMARE DONO K BUZURG HAIN CHAHE AP BAQI IMAMON KO NA MANTE HON LEKIN SHAH WALIULLAH KO TAU WAHABI DEOBANDI OR BERELVI SAB MANTE HAIN AB KAHO WOH BHI NOUZUBILLAH MUSHRIK THEY

  18. When The Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] is referred to as Hazir it does not mean he is present everywhere at the same time, rather Hazir means the Prophet is Present and the belief is that He is present at his Grave, but can also be present at other places at the any given time as Allah wills. And By Nadhir it is meant that he is Seeing and Hearing Creation, and if you have doubts about this being possible for a creation of Allah then you don't have to look too far for other examples, The Angel of Death is able to see the world as it would be on the Palm of a Hand. Now coming towards proofs Quote: Objection which is made] Can any knowledgeable member please clarify this Hadith for me which is often quoted by ppl belonging to a particular group in negation of Hadhir Nadhir... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Volume 8, Book 76, Number 533: Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet stood up among us and addressed (saying) "You will be gathered, barefooted, naked, and uncircumcised (as Allah says): 'As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it..' (21.104) And the first human being to be dressed on the Day of Resurrection will be (the Prophet) Abraham Al-Khalil. Then will be brought some men of my followers who will be taken towards the left (i.e., to the Fire), and I will say: 'O Lord! My companions whereupon Allah will say: You do not know what they did after you left them. I will then say as the pious slave Jesus said, "And I was witness over them while I dwelt amongst them..........(up to) ...the All-Wise.'" (5.117-118). The narrator added: Then it will be said that those people (relegated from Islam, that is) kept on turning on their heels (deserted Islam). In the above hadith, the wording in nearly all of them is LA TADRI which to a modern arab may mean don’t know but in classical Arabic itmeans you don’t know by your own ability- in other words you don’t know by your own investigation but only because Allah revealed it to you. The other point to make here is that when someone asks a question in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah it is not always because they don’t know it is for the saking of educating others. Now this is a additional reply from my Side Even Allah asks questions in Quran even after knowing every thing Quranic example #1 Look this ayath "And what is that in your right hand, O Musa (Moses)?" ( Taha, Chapter #20, Verse #17) Quranic example #2 Allah asked Shatan [devil ] a question And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being), then We told the angels, "Prostrate to Adam", and they prostrated, except Iblîs (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrate. , (Allâh) said: "What prevented you (O Iblîs) that you did not prostrate, when I commanded you?" Iblîs said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay." [Quran 7: 11-12] So according to same logic and Hikmah which Allah [swt] used will any one say that Allah [swt] didn't actually knew about Shatan motives or what was in his heart , Naoozbila min zalik. There are several instances when Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) revealed the unseen and many thing to Sahabas (رضي الله عنه) and many instances when Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) remained silent. Secondly even in above mention hadith the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) informs about the future in the past which shows that Allah [swt] has already granted Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) the knowledge of unseen even of this incident. Rest I hope the arabic translation issue is cleared here . Now to prove the fact that there are No Contradictions in Al Quran and Sahih hadiths I will show the following hadiths, This is a reply from me Hadith # 1 Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 10, Number 515: "Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle came out as the sun declined at mid-day and offered the Zuhr prayer. He then stood on the pulpit and spoke about the Hour (Day of Judgment) and said that in it there would be tremendous things. He then said, "Whoever likes to ask me about anything he can do so and I shall reply as long as I am at this place of mine. Most of the people wept and the Prophet said repeatedly, "Ask me." Abdullah bin Hudhafa As-Sahmi stood up and said, "Who is my father?" The Prophet said, "Your father is The Prophet repeatedly said, "Ask me." Then Umar knelt before him and said, "We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, Islam as our religion, and Muhammad as our Prophet." The Prophet then became quiet and said, "Paradise and Hell-fire were displayed in front of me on this wall just now and I have never seen a better thing (than the former) and a worse thing (than the latter)." Hadith # 2 Sahih Al Bukhari, Book 3, Number 115: "Narrated Um Salama: One night Allah's Apostle got up and said, "Subhan Allah! How many afflictions have been descended tonight and how many treasures have been disclosed! Go and wake the sleeping lady occupants of these dwellings (his wives) up (for prayers). A well-dressed (soul) in this world may be naked in the Hereafter." Hadith # 3 Sahih Al Bukhari, Book 23, Number 428: "Narrated 'Uqba bin 'Amir: One day the Prophet went out and offered the funeral prayers of the martyrs of Uhud and then went up the pulpit and said, "I will pave the way for you as your predecessor and will be a witness on you. By Allah! I see my Fount (Kauthar) just now and I have been given the keys of all the treasures of the earth (or the keys of the earth). By Allah! I am not afraid that you will worship others along with Allah after my death, but I am afraid that you will fight with one another for the worldly things." Hadith # 4 Sahih Al Bukhari, Book 59, Number 411: "Narrated Uqba: One day the Prophet went out and offered the (funeral) prayer for the people (i.e. martyrs) of Uhud as he used to offer a funeral prayer for any dead person, and then (after returning) he ascended the pulpit and said, "I am your predecessor before you, and I am a witness upon you, and I am looking at my Tank just now, and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the world (or the keys of the world). By Allah, I am not afraid that you will worship others besides Allah after me, but I am afraid that you will compete with each other for (the pleasures of) this world." Hadith # 5 Sahih Muslim, Book 030, Number 5825: " Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood when the sun had passed the meridian and he led them noon prayer and after observing salutations (completing the prayer) he stood upon the pulpit and talked about the Last Hour and made a mention of the important facts prior to it and then said: He who desires to ask anything from me let him ask me about it. By Allah, I shall not move from this place so long as I do not inform you about that which you ask. [/size] Hadith # 6 Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 22, Number 303: "Narrated 'Aisha: Once the sun eclipsed and Allah's Apostle stood up for the prayer and recited a very long Sura and when bowed for a long while and then raised his head and started reciting another Sura. Then he bowed, and after finishing, he prostrated and did the same in the second Raka and then said, "These (lunar and solar eclipses) are two of the signs of Allah and if you see them, pray till the eclipse is over. No doubt, while standing at this place I saw EVERYTHING promised to me by Allah and I saw (Paradise) and I wanted to pluck a bunch (of grapes) therefrom, at the time when you saw me stepping forward. No doubt, I saw Hell with its different parts destroying each other when you saw me retreating and in it I saw 'Amr bin Luhai who started the tradition of freeing animals (set them free) in the name of idols."[/size] Hadith # 7 And عَن مُعَاذِ بن جَبَلٍ ، رضي الله عنه قَالَ «احْتَبَسَ عَنَّا رَسُولُ الله ذَات غَدَاةٍ مِنْ صَلاَة الصُّبْح حَتَّى كِدْنَا نَتَراءَى عَيْنَ الشَّمْسِ فخَرَجَ سريعاً فَثُوِّبَ بالصَّلاَةِ فَصَلّى رَسُولُ الله وَتَجَوَّزَ في صَلاَتِه، فَلَّما سَلَّمَ دَعا بِصَوْتِهِ فَقَالَ لَنَا: عَلَى مَصَافِّكُمْ كَمَا أَنْتُمْ ثُمَّ انْفَتَلَ إِلَيْنَا ثم قَالَ: أَمَا إِنِّي سَأُحَدِّثُكُمْ مَا حَبَسَنِي عَنْكُم الغَدَاةَ أَنَّي قُمْتُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَا قُدِّرَ لِي فَنَعَسْتُ فِي صَلاَتِي حتى اسْتَثْقَلْتُ فإِذَا أَنَا بِرَبِّي تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالى في أَحْسَنِ صُورَةٍ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ، قُلْتُ لَبَيَّكَ رَبِّ، قالَ فِيمَ يَخْتَصِمُ المَلأُ الأَعْلَى؟ Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was detained one morning from observing the dawn prayer (in congregation) along with us till the sun had almost appeared on the horizon. He then came out hurriedly and Iqamah for prayer was observed and he conducted it (prayer) in brief form. When he had concluded the prayer by saying As-salamu alaykum wa Rahmatullah, he called out to us saying: Remain in your places as you were. Then turning to us he said: I am going to tell you what detained me from you (on account of which I could not join you in the prayer) in the morning. I got up in the night and performed ablution and observed the prayer as had been ordained for me. I dozed in my prayer till I was overcome by (sleep) and lo and lo, I found myself in the presence of my Lord, the Blessed and the Glorious, in the best form. He said: Muhammad! I said: At Thy service, my Lord. He said: What these highest angels contend about? I said: I do not know. He repeated it thrice. He said: Then I saw Him put his palms between my shoulder blades till I felt the coldness of his fingers between the two sides of my chest. Then everything was illuminated for me and I recognized everything. He said: Muhammad! I said: At Thy service, my Lord. He said: What do these high angels contend about? I said: In regard to expiations. He said: What are these? I said: Going on foot to join congregational prayers, sitting in the mosques after the prayers, performing ablution well despite difficulties. He again said: Then what do they contend? I said: In regard to the ranks. He said: What are these? I said: Providing of food, speaking gently, observing the prayer when the people are asleep. He again said to me: Beg (Your Lord) and say: O Allah, I beg of Thee (power) to do good deeds, and abandon abominable deeds, to love the poor, that Thou forgive me and show mercy to me and when Thou intendst to put people to trial Thou causes me to die unblemished and I beg of Thee Thy love and the love of one who loves Thee and the love for the deed which brings me near to Thy love. Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: It is a truth, so learn it and teach it. ►Transmitted by Ahmad, Tirmidhi who said: This is a "Hasan Sahih" hadith and I asked Muhammad ibn Isma'il (i.e. Imam Bukhari) about this hadith and he said: It is a "Hassan Sahih" hadith. When we reached his grave, it was not yet dug. So the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) sat down and we also sat down around him as if birds were over our heads. He had in his hand a stick with which he was scratching the ground. He then raised his head and said: Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave. He said it twice or thrice. The version of Jabir adds here: He hears the beat of their sandals when they go back, and at that moment he is asked: O so and so! Who is your Lord, what is your religion, and who is your Prophet? Hannad's version says: Two angels will come to him, make him sit up and ask him: Who is your Lord? He will reply: My Lord is Allah. They will ask him: What is your religion? He will reply: My religion is Islam. They will ask him: What is your opinion about the man who was sent on a mission among you? He will reply: He is the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). They will ask: Who made you aware of this? He will reply: I read Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true; which is verified by Allah's words: "Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true, which is verified by Allah's words: "Allah establishes those who believe with the word that stands firm in this world and the next." 19. VERDICTS OF THE JURISTS AND ULEMA IN THE PROOF OF HAAZIR & NAAZIR Shaikh Abdul-Haqq Muhaddith Dehlwi writes,“ The Prophet is informed of the actions and conditions of his Ummat. He grants guidance to those present in his august court and is Haazir & Naazir.- [Mujmaul- Barkaat] Shifaa sharif states, “When there is no one in the house to make salaam to, say, “ Salaam be upon you, Yaa Rasulallah, and the mercy and blessings of Allah( عزوجل.)” [shifa Sharif] Mulla Ali Qaari writes in this extract’s explanation, “ This is because the soul (rooh) of the Prophet is Haazir in the homes of Muslims.”- [sharah shifaa.] Imaam Ibnul-Haaj and Imaam Qastalaani writes, Our Ulama have stated that there is no difference between the Prophet’s Life and Demise . He sees his ummah and knows their conditions, intentions and secrets at heart. All this is manifest for him with no obscurity.”- [Madkhal , Mawaahib, Vol.2, Pg 387 respectively] In Mirqaat , Mulla Ali qaari states, “ Imam Ghazzali has said, When you enter the Masjid , send Salaam to Rasulallah because he is Present in the Masjids. Imam Qaazi Ayaadh records the following , “It is narrated that Hazrat Alqamah states , “ when I enter the Masjid , I say, “Salaam be upon you, O Prophet and the mercy and blessings of Allah ( عزوجل).” [shifa Sharif ] Allama Ismail Haqqi writes in the ending of Surah Mulk’s commentary, “ Imam Ghazzali states, “ The Holy Prophet has the power to travel the earth accompanied by the souls of his Sahaaba. Many friends of Allah have seen him (do this).” [ Tafseer Roohul-Bayaan ] Imam Jalaaluddin Suyuti writes, “ If people hold the belief that the soul of Rasulallah or his likeness attends gatherings I will quote Maktubaat of Imam Rabbani Hadrat Mujadad Alf Sani (رحمة الله عليه)Volume 3 , Maktubaat # 220 here. In this chapter Imam Rabbani Hadrat Mujadad Alf Sani (رحمة الله عليه) mentions how many sufis get Kashafats which are very dangerous for them, These kashafats make them think many wrong things which can be very dangerous for their iman. This is indeed a great trial for such sufis. Imam Rabbani Hadrat Mujadad Alf Sani (رحمة الله عليه) mentions all such problems due to such kashafat and than says HE HIMSELF SUFFERED FOR LONG WITH SAME PROBLEM and there was no way out. Let me Translate the words of Imam Rabbani Hadrat Mujadad Alf Sani (رحمة الله عليه) into english and than show scanned pages Quote Starts : Before this Waswafah [thoughts] used to get perished like soil infront of belief and had on value, Infact I used to do Tawbah and Istagfar and pray humbly that such Kashafats as not revealed. And that no kashafats should be revealed if they go against and principle of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammat. But one day THIS FEAR overpowered me that I should think about such Kashoofats ,And that I should asked about such things. This Fear made me frustrated and Cause Alot of UNEASYNESSand due to this I prayed Alot infront of Allah. This Condition remained for a LONG TIME .ONE Day in this condition I WENT TO MIZAR [tomb/shrine] of an Awliya and I made the AWLIYA MY HELPER concerning this problem during this time Mercy of Allah came and I was informed about the Reality of the issue, And then SOUL [Ruh] OF Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) who is Mercy for All worlds came and GAVE COMFORT TO MY HEART.This informed me that only Qurb of Allah is the real blessing. [continues ][ end quote] Scans of Volume 3 , Maktubaat # 220 Now from Classical scholars Mulla Ali Qari (rah) said (If nobody is present in the house then one should say: Peace be upon you O Messenger of Allah and Allah's Mercy and blessings) while doing Sharh of this Mullah Ali Qari (rah) writes: “Meaning, because his (Peace Be Upon Him) soul, is present in the house of the Muslims. [Mullah Ali Qari, Sharah ush-Shifah, Volume 002, Page No. 117] Mullah Ali Qari on Hadhir o Nadhir: [And he (Nuh) shall reply, ‘Muhammad and his Community’] Translation:This means that his Community is witness while he vouches for them, but his mention came first out of reverence (للتعظيم). It not Ba’eed (i.e. impossible) that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) is himself witness for Nuh, since it is a context of help and Allah Most High said [When Allah made (His) convenant with the Prophets] until He said [you shall believe in him and you shall help him] (3:81). In this there is a remarkable warning that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) “IS PRESENT AND WITNESSING” in the Greatest Inspection (وفيه تنبيه نبيه أنه حاضر ناظر في ذلك العرض الأكبر), when the Prophets are brought, Nuh being the first, and the latter’s witnesses are brought, namely, this Community. 20. Definition of Hadhir/Nadhir Mufti Ahmad Yaar Khan and Allama Ghulam Rasool Sa’eedi write: Haadhir Nadhir does not mean that the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] is present. Rather, it means that the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] views the actions of his Ummah whilst he is in his grave. He can go from his grave to other places where he likes spiritually. He prays for us. [Tawzeeh-ul-Bayaan Sharh Sahih Muslim vol 1 Chapter on Mi’raj Ja al-Haqq chapter Al Haadir-u-wannadir by Mufti Ahmad Yaar Khan] Yeh raha ap k us pehle anwar e shariat wale aitraz k jawab jo 2 hi scan lagaye they apne or dono k jawab diye ja chuke hain Yeh hai definetion hazir o nazir ki JO APNE ANWAR E SHARIAT KA POST LAGAYA US MAIN LIKHA HAI K NABI KAREEM S.A.W.W HAR WAQT HAZIR NAZIR HAIN YEH AHLE SUNNAT KA AQEEDA NAI OR YEHI ANWAR E SHARIAT MAIN LIKHA HAI K YEH AHLE SUNNAT KA AQEEDA NAI HAI NABI KAREEM S.A.W.W APNI ROZA MUBARAK MAIN HAYAT HAIN OR APNI UMMAT KO DEKHTE HAIN OR APNE ROZA MUBARAK SE KAHIN BHI TASHREEF LE JA SAKTE HAIN AB YEH DEFINETION WAZIAH HO GAYE MASLAH YEH THA MAIN AIK TARAF EXAM KI TYAARI KR RAHA HON AIK TARAF AP KI POSTS K JAWABAT DE RAHA HON MERE LIYE MUSHKIL HO GYA THA OR ISI WAJAH SE FORUM PE GHALTIYAN BHI HO GAYEN 2 AB JA K FREE HUWA HON TAU TASALLI SE BETH K JAWAB DIYE HAIN OR APNE AQAID K DALAIL PESH KRON GA Proof of Hadhir/Nadhir Allah Ta’ala says in the Qur’an "O Prophet! [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] no doubt, We have sent you as a witness, bearer of glad tiding and a Warner" [surah Al-Ahzab, verse 45.] The Qur’an refers to RasoolAllah [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] as ‘Shahid’(witness) and the witness is someone who sees whilst being present. [Mufradaat, Imam Raghib, under the word Shahid] Allah sent the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] as Shahid. It is for this reason we refer to him as metaphorically being Haadhir/Nadhir and that he is not Hadhir/Nadhir in the way that are the Angels Kiraman, Katibeen. (The Angels who are constantly present on the right and left shoulder of every human being.) Proof of Haadhir & Nadhir from Hadith Hafidhh Ibn Kathir writes: Imam Qurtubi writes: The angels present the actions of the Ummah to the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] every single day. This is not correct, but the truth is that the actions of the Ummah are presented not every day but every Friday. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir Surah Al-Nisa'a under verse 41] Hafidhh Ibn Qayyim writes: It is true that our Prophet, [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] in his grave, is presented with the actions of his Ummah. This is from un-authenticated Ahadeeth and it is not something to be surprised by, because when our parents pass away from this world, our actions are presented to them to view. However, with our Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace], he is presented with the actions of the all humans and the Jins. [Qaseedah Nounia 13 by Hafidhh Ibn Qayyim] Hafidhh ibn Kathir writes: that; When a parent of a muslim dies, then their children’s actions are presented to them. If the actions are good then they are happy, but if their actions are bad, then they pray to Allah TA’ALA so that He may forgive them. [Tafsir ibn Kathir under verse 105 of Surah al Taubah by Hafidhh Ibn Kathir]. Hafidhh Ibn Rajab: also says on this subject; Deeds of the humans are presented in front of our Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace], that is why a person should be ashamed of themselves from doing bad deeds. [Lataef-ul-Mahrif Hafidhh Ibn Rajab pg 91] Some people may have difficulty in comprehending how the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] could have so much power to the extent that he views the actions of his Ummah every day or once a week. Firstly such a thing can never be difficult for the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace], and secondly there is nothing to be surprised by when Allah grants his special servants abilities of such nature. Hafidhh Ibn Kathir writes: An example of this would be of the Angel Izra’eel Alaihi salaam, who at all times has the Lawh-e-Mahfooz (guarded tablet) in his sight, and it is through this he sees the whole world. He even visits every house on land and under water five times a day. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Surah Sajdah, under verse 11. Also in Tareek Ibn Kathir vol.1, Chapter on Lawh-e-Mahfooz] Apart from his servants, Allah has even given power to Shaytaan, who sits on his throne in the sea and sees you wherever you may be. [surah Al-’Araaf, under verse 27] So if Allah can bestow such powers to a Kafir then why is it so difficult to believe that He can bestow such powers to the most beloved of his creation - Our Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace]? The evidence provided above, was to demonstrate that the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] is a witness over the whole of his Ummah - and this is what is meant by Hadhir/Nadhir. The Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] stated: "My life is better for you, you narrate Ahadith and Ahadith are narrated for you. When I pass away it will continue to benefit you because your actions will be presented before me. If I see a good deed I shall praise Allah Soobha Nahu Wata'ala, If I see a bad deed of yours I shall ask Allah Soobha Nahu Wata'ala to forgive you. [Majma-uz-Zwaa’id, vol.9, pg.24] All this implies, that the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] is Hadhir/Nadhir over our actions. Hafidhh Ibn Kathir writes: On the Day of Judgment, the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] will be a witness over our actions and the actions of the previous Ummahs. Even the Ummah of the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] will bear witness to the fact that the previous Prophets conveyed the message of Allah Soobha Nahu Wata'la to their respective Ummahs. To this, the people from the previous Ummahs will say: ‘How can they testify when they were not present at that time?’ The Ummah of the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] will reply: ‘We were informed by our Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] that the previous messengers had all conveyed the message from Allah Soobha Nahu Wata'ala.’ Then RasoolAllah [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] will himself bear witness to the fact that all the Prophets before him had conveyed their message from Allah Soobha Nahu Wata'ala to their respective Ummahs. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Surah Baqarah, under verse 143] On the Day of judgment there will be an objection to the certification of the Ummahs ,but there will be no objection to the word/certification of the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace]. In fact it will used as a decision, since the certification of the Ummah would be from what they heard (from Qur,an and Sunnah) but the certification of the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] will be from what he had witnessed. Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah states: The Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] saw all the previous Prophets and their followers. This is the difference in the testimony of the Prophet [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] and that of his Ummah. [sahih al Bukhari Chptr Al-Manaqib] From the above, it can be understood that the witness of Prophet Muhammad [May Allah bless him and grant him peace] will not be challengable on the Day of Judgement, because his witness will be observable.
