  1. How would you know that he won't feel offended after hearing such a speech by someone? If you just think that he might not feel offended then why don't you think that he actually can get offended. I'm sure there's nobody that would not feel offended. I think it's either that you do not understand the definition of backbiting or you're confused. The matter is not that whether a person will know about it or not. The matter is that you should not be telling such things around which would actually offend a person.
  2. Fatwa meyney abhe perha hai, Kafir ki gheebat nahe hoti. Aur app ka dusra sawal kay kaisey pata challey, what do you mean? Do you mean to say that when you backbite a Muslim? Muslim ki gheebat app nahe ker sakhtay, in any case - chahey app ki baat sey uss ko takleef puhnchey ya nahe. However, there are some exceptional cases in which you are allowed to backbite but provided that you say only relevant things to the topic in concern and nothing else. Hope that helps. And Allah azzawajal knows the best.
  3. I can't find it online, and if i scan it, you might not be able to read because the printing is not very clear. I'll try typing it. Or if you want I can post it to you?
  4. Please read the book 'destructions of backbiting'.
  5. MashaAllah great powerpoint presentation. JazakAllah for sharing
  6. Paltalk is a messenger like msn or yahoo messengers. You can chat with people from around the world. Hope that helps.
  7. Jee haan. yeh meri personal thought hai but i will confirm it from the imam saab, he's a scholar and a peer as well mashaAllah. You know it's a non-muslim country so we have to be extra cautious, i mean what if they complain.
  8. Jee. Also here in the UK, they say it in the masjid .... probably because it's a non-muslim country and you know to avoid disturbance to the non-Muslims.
  9. My dear Islamic brother Islamic rules alter with place and time. I do not know what you mean by 'beroon-e-mulak' but yes in western countries i know it's a complete different issue and that's the reason why i said rules alter with time and place. Anyways, i'll ask my local Masjid's imam, Peer sahib's gone for umrah and he's gonna be back on saturday so hopefully on Monday i'm gonna get your issue solved!
  10. Assalamualaykum waRahmatullah, I would like to join the translating team, is it possible? JazakAllah!
  11. Alright. Iss ka matlab yeh hai kay app apna 'character/personality' sahe kerrain. Good character meyn achi chaal chalan, acha kirdaar, achi siirat, etc. Basically 'Akhlaaq' means (good) manners/character. If anyone tells you to rectify it then you should take into consideration your habits(aadat), character and manners. Aur Ikhlaas means sincerity. -Aik toh Quran ki Surat hai Surah Ikhlaas. -Dusra Ikhlaas ka matlab yeh hai kay saadgi, khuluus, mukhlisi, sidq-e-dil, sachcha ya phir wafa daar. In English I would define it as honesty, genuineness, realness, and earnestness(seriousness). I hope that helps. And Allah Azzawajal knows the best.
  12. MashaAllah Very nice sharing. Just same as we want pious partners, we should be pious ourselves first because if you are looking forward to something - they might be looking forward to something as well! JazakAllah for sharing.
