Surah Al Maidah {5} Verse 35: "O ye who believe! Do your duty to Allah, seek the means of approach unto Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that ye may prosper." Allah states in the Quran, seek Waseelah, i.e. means, ways, to approach to Allah, gain nearness to Allah, there are many Waseelah in Shariah indicated in Quran and Sunnah, and one form of Waseelah which Allah instructs the beleivers to seek is of Prophets {SAW}: Surah Nisa {4} Verse 64: "We sent not an apostle, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah's FORGIVENESS, and the Messenger had asked FORGIVENESS for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful." Allah subhana wa tallah states that we have sent the Prophet, the Messenger to be obeyed by his fallowers as well as the Mushrikeen in accordance to what Allah wills, and when the sinners, munafiqeen were unjust to them selves, i.e. wronged, sinned, and had earned Allahs wrath, they should have come to Prophet {SAW} and asked Allahs forgiveness, note Allah says come in the presence of the Prophet and then seek Allahs forgiveness Allah doesnt say stay at home, but says come in the presence of Prophet and then seek forgiveness from Allah, and when the messenger had asked forigveness for the sinners then they would have found Allah forgiving mercifull, indicating that Allah preffers the Waseelah, Allah wishes that sinners those who have wronged themselves should make dua in the presence of Prophet this it self is form of Waseelah because nearness to Prophet, those who desire to be in presence of Prophet {SAW} Allah is pleased with them ... and dua in his presence is more worthy of acceptance, and secondly ask the Prophet to seek forgiveness on the behalf of sinner. This proves the Waseelah of Prophet Muhammed {SAW} while he was on this world, and is proof that his Waseelah can be made, and the sinners in this world can belong to any era as long as they are siners they can make his Waseelah. Surah Al Baqarah {2} Verse 89: "And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for VICTORY against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognized, they refuse to believe in it, but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith." Jews use to make dua to Allah prior to the birth of Prophet {SAW} to Allah by using Prophet {SAW} as Waseelah, they asked O Allah grant us victory with the Waseelah {through} the Prophet Muhammed {SAW}: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: "(although aforetime they had invoked Allah (for coming of Muhammad ) in order to gain victory over those who disbelieved) meaning, before this Messenger came to them, they used to ask Allah to aid them by his arrival, against their polytheistic enemies in war. They used to say to the polytheists, "A Prophet shall be sent just before the end of this world and we, along with him, shall exterminate you, just as the nations of `Ad and Iram were exterminated.'' Also, Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated that Ibn `Abbas said, "The Jews used to invoke Allah (for the coming of Muhammad ) in order to gain victory over the Aws and Khazraj, before the Prophet was sent. When Allah sent him to the Arabs, they rejected him and denied what they used to say about him. Hence, Mu`adh bin Jabal and Bishr bin Al-Bara' bin Ma`rur, from Bani Salamah, said to them, `O Jews! Fear Allah and embrace Islam. You used to invoke Allah for the coming of Muhammad when we were still disbelievers and you used to tell us that he would come and describe him to us,' Salam bin Mushkim from Bani An-Nadir replied, `He did not bring anything that we recognize. He is not the Prophet we told you about.' Allah then revealed this Ayah about their statement," * Tafsir Al Jalalayn: "When there came to them a Book from God, confirming what was with them, in the Torah, that is the Qur’ān — and they formerly, before it came, prayed for victory, for assistance, over the disbelievers, saying: ‘God, give us assistance against them through the Prophet that shall be sent at the end of time’; but when there came to them what they recognised, as the truth, that is, the mission of the Prophet, they disbelieved in it, out of envy and for fear of losing leadership (the response to the first lammā particle is indicated by the response to the second one); and the curse of God is on the disbelievers." * Tafsir Ibn Abbas: "(And when there cometh unto them a Scripture from Allah, confirming that in their possession) which accords with that which is in their possession (though before that) before Muhammad (pbuh) (they were asking for a signal triumph) through Muhammad and the Qur'an (over those who disbelieved) of their enemies: the tribes of Asad, Ghatafan, Muzaynah, and Juhaynah (and when there cometh unto them that which they knew) of his traits and description in their Book (they disbelieved therein) they denied it was him. (The curse of Allah) His wrath and torment (is on disbelievers) the Jews." Note keren kay Hadith ka asool heh, agar RasoolAllah kay samnay ya sun'nay meh kohi amal esa aya ho joh ghair sharaee thah toh RasolAllah us ko zeroor roktay ya islah farmatay, aur agar un kay samnay kuch amal huwa ho aur unoon nay sakoot farmaya ho toh phir yeh matlab hoga kay yeh amal ilfaaz weghera darust thay ghair islami nahin thay. Allah tallah kee zaat ko ziyada haq punchta heh kay woh achay buray kee tameez logoon ko batahen apni kitab meh Allah kee khamoshi daleel heh kay RasoolAllah ka Waseelah bana'na jaiz aur hukam e illahi heh. Han dua Allah tallah say mangni chayeh, magar Allah kay muqaribeen, ibadat, Isma o Sifaat e bari talah, aur Saliheen, Ambiyah ka Waseelah jaiz heh, yehni yoon dua farmana: "Ya Allah apnay piyaray Nabi kay waseeleh say meray gunnahoon ko maaf farma." Tarjama e Kunz Ul Imaan hazar heh: "Bey shak tum, aur joh kuch, Allah kay sawa tum poojtay ho, sab jahanum ka eendan ho, tummeh is meh jana, agar yeh khuda hotay jahanum meh nah jatay, aur in sab meh hamesha is meh rehna." Sayyidi Ala Hazrat nay sirf tarjumah keeya, kohi wazahat nahin kee, mindu'nillah technical term heh joh Kaffiroon aur un kay Idols leyeh istimal huwi. Allah tallah nay Mindunillah yehni Mushrikeen aur un kay Idols ko jahanum ka eendan farmaya heh, yeh Ahle Sunnat ka mowaqif heh: * Surah Al Baqarah {2} Verse 24: "But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and STONES,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith." * Surah At'Tehreem {66} Verse 6: "O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and STONES, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded." These two verses hint at the meaning of verse 21:98, Allah says fuel of hell fire is men, and stones, men reffers to the Mushrikeen, and stones to their idols which are made from stones. Aakhar meh Mindu'nillah Idols hen aur Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Tafsir Ibn Kathir and all the Muffasireen have stated that in this verse the Mindu'nillah are Idols, Prophet said Tafsir Bir Ray, meaning out of his own opinion which has no basis on Quran or Sunnah will take people to hellfire. If the assertion that Mindunillah reffers to Nabi's, Wali's Angles, Jinn, especially Momineen then this verse categorically proves that those who are worshipped will to go hellfire. Aur mazeed note keren Sajdah hamesha ibadat kay leyeh nahin hota, agar ibadat kee nishaani Sajdah hota toh phir farishtoon aur Yaqoob alayhis salam kay Sajdoon per Shirk Fil ibadat ka fatwah lagta heh, Sajdah kee haqiqat niyat, aur aqeedeh per jaani jaati heh, jab Yaqoob alayhis Salam nay Sajdah keeya toh makhlooq maan ker, Farishtoon nay Adam ko sajdah keeya toh makhlooq maan ker, aur Allah kay muqarib abd maan ker, aur in kay Sajday ba niyat e tazeem say keeyeh gahay thay is leyeh Shirk Fil Ibadat kay murtaqib nahin thay. Aur joh kohi ghairullah ko Sajdah e Tazeemi ba niyat e ibadat kerta heh Mushrik heh aur Shirk Fil Ibadat ka murtaqib heh, joh kohi ghairullah ko Sajda e tazeemi Ila {god} ya Allah kay saath zaat o sifaat o afaal meh shareek maan ker kerta heh woh be Mushrik aur Shirk Fil Ibadat ka murtaqib heh. Allahu Akhbar, Prophet had already foretold that Najdia will recite the Quran but it will not go below their collar bone, in another hadith he said they will be stupid, true are the words of Messenger of Allah, Quran can never reach to the heart of Wahabi. Allah Subhana Wa Tallah states in the Quran: * Surah Nahl [16] verses 17: "Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then receive admonition? [20]. Those whom they invoke against Allah have not created anything, but are themselves created. [21]. (They are) dead, lifeless, and they know not when they will be raised up." * Surah Fatir [35] verse 40 states: “Say: "Have ye seen (these) Mindu'nillah 'Partners' of yours whom ye call upon. Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions.“ * Surah Al Furqan [25] verse 3: “Yet have they taken mindu’nillah [Against Allah] gods that can create nothing but are themselves created; that have no control of hurt or good to themselves; nor can they control death nor life nor resurrection.“ * Surah Al Hajj {22} Verse 73: "O men! Here is a parable set forth! listen to it! Those on whom, besides Allah, ye call, cannot create (even) a FLY, if they all met together for the purpose! and if the FLY should snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from the FLY. Feeble are those who petition and those whom they petition!" These verses of the Quran reffer to the stone made idols, if the Wahabi wishes to attribute these verses to humans then he should note that here the context is, Allah is stating you have taken Idols as gods show me what they have created, if this verse is taken out of its historical context and Asbab Un Nuzul are ignored, this would be damning for Tawheed then Wahabis must beleive in two gods, because Allah demands that those who have taken gods besides Allah show them what those gods have created, if a polythiest could show what his god created, this would imply Allahs demand was met, hence the claim of the polytheists that X being is god will be substantiated. Allah Subhana Wa Tallah states: * Surah Al Imran {3} Verse 49: "And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a BIRD, and breathe into it, and it becomes a BIRD by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe; ..." * Surah Al Maidah {5} Vesrse 110: "Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a BIRD, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a BIRD by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! Allah toh kehta heh kay kay mindu'nillah kuch nahin bana saktay, makh'khi be nahin bana saktay, magar jis ko Christian khuda mantay hen, yehni Isa alayhis salam, woh toh murdoon ko zinda kerta heh, mat'ti kay parindeh bana ker un meh jaan phoonkta heh, nateeja kia nikla, baqaul Wahabiat kee mantaq Christianity mazhab e bar haq, Isa alayhis salam Shareek e Illahi bar haq, aur Islam, Quran batal. Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat ka aqeedah heh kay yeh ayaat sari mat'ti, stone, material say jitnay be banay but'h hen jin kee pooja kee jaati thee, aur kee jaati heh, cha'hay woh Alat, Uzzat, Manat, Rama, Karishna, Ganesh, Hanuman, Budha, kissi ka be but'h ho yeh ayaat un kay mutaliq hen, woh murda hen, woh makhi bee nahin bana saktay, un ko kohi khabr nahin kay qayamat kab ahay gee, aur agar makhi un kee nazr kee huwi cheese ko utha leh toh wapis nahin la saktay, kissi insaan ko nafa aur nuqsaan kee taqat nahin rakhtay, zindge aur utha'hay janay per un ko control nahin. Allah kay nek, momin, saliheen, Awliyah, Ambiyah are given authority, izn, permission, power, from Allah toh perform the magnificant feets which no ordinary can take, Ibn Taymiyah the Muajjasimi apostat writes in his:Aqeedat Il Wasatiyah, I have sharh of it published by DArus Salam, page 211, Ahlus Sunnah Beleive in Karamat of Awliyah, find it and read it. UnderStanding Concept Of Shirk. . Alhamdu'lillahi Rabil Alameen, Khaliqas'samawati wal ardeen. Was'salatu was'salamu ala say'yeedil mursaleen. Am'ma baad, fa'auzu'billahi ma'nishayta'nir'rajeem. Bismilla hir'rahma nir'raheem. Bismillah! In this time of Trial & Tribulations the Ummah of RasoolAllah as been devided among warring sects. The fundamental cause of this dis-unity and spread of Ilhad [atheism] and biddati concepts is misunderstanding of the doctrine of Tawheed & Shirk. My objective is to deal with the fundamental problem which is deviding the Ummah, once the foundation of all disputes is corrected, Inshallah the remaining disputes which are based on this will autometically be explained. This article will Inshallah will be expanded to include the evidences for each form of Shirk from Quran & Sunnah. Definition Of Shirk according to Shariah: Joining a partner with Allah in absolute terms, to believe that Allah has a Equale-Partner, who shares with Allah power, attributes, on equal terms. Shirk Of Attributes: A form of Shirk in which attributes of Allah are given to the CREATION of Allah. Note: Seeing, Hearing, Knowing, Sustainer, etc: All are Attributes of Allah tallah, but the Makhlooq of Allah does share with Allah these ATTRIBUTES, and stating this fact does not mount to SHIRK. Allah tallah as out of His will as confered these Atributes to His creation, and the quantity of these Attributes differes from invidual to invidual as well as between Allah and His creation. Attributes Of Allah & Their Qauntity: Allah, Sees, Hears, Knows ALL, none is hidden from him NOT EVEN A ATOMS WEIGHT, He Sees ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, He Hears ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, He Knows PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that has happened in these THREE TIME PERIODS. Allahs Seeing, Hearing, Knowing is absolute in every term, neither He makes mistake in judgment on WHAT HE SAW, HEARD, AND KNOWS, nor its part of His Attributes to make such mistakes. He is Perfect in every Attribute. Attributes of Creation & And Their Limitations: Creation's attributes variy, some can see/hear more clearly then the other, some are blind/deaf, some become blind/deaf in old age, some become blind/deaf because of exidents. Their ability of "Knowing" is dependant on the five senses. With exception to Ambiyah (Allaimus Salam) Awliyah-Allah, depending upon their respected position, who are instructed by Wahi {Revelation} or 'Ilm e Ladunvi' {<---Urdu'nised rendering,"Divine Guidance" - Surah Al Kahf {18] Verse 65} as well as their five senses which they share with human beings and Jins etc; Since the quantity of these attributes deppences on he organs which collect the information. Then relay this information to the brain for processing, and then brain determines the quantity, what it saw, heard, and how much it knows. Due to this fact human & Jin knowledge is defective, incomplete. What Consitute 'Shirk Of Attributes': *{}* If X claims that He/She SEES everything - JUST LIKE ALLAH *{}* If X claims that He/She HEARS everything - JUST LIKE ALLAH *{}* If X claims that He/She KNOWS everything - JUST LIKE ALLAH Or takes any Attribute of Allah and implies that X is equal with Allah in this Attribute, it would be Shirk Al Akhbar, which in other words results in KUFR. Any creation if it takes the attribute of Allah which Allah shares with creation and implies that X is ABSOLUTELY EQUAL WITH Allah is this respect, such a person is MUSHRIK & KAFFIR. It would not mount to Shirk, if a person states that I am seeing or he is seeing, because for it to be SHIRK the similarity has be ABSOLUTE, if there is similarity on PARTIAL basis its not shirk. {} To make Haram a Halal is, SHIRK OF ATTRIBUTES / To make Halal a Haram is, SHIRK OF ATTRIBUTES :- This right is only with Allah. Who so ever declares a HALAL as HARAM, IS KAFFIR, MUSHRIK, FILTHY KAFFIR WORSE KAFFIR THEN A HINDU KAFFIR [surah 9:31]. Example A: A individual was TO BELIEVE IN TOTAL/ABSOLUTE independence of Malik-ul-Maut from Allah authority OR holds to the belief that Malik-Ul-Maut takes life of out of his own choice, such person commits Shirk of Attributes, such a person is KAFIR. {A person who believes that “Malik ul Maut” takes life of a person with the permission of Allah, with power given by Allah is a Muslim, and such a individual holds to the correct belief.} Example B: ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THAT THESE MIRACLES WERE PERFORMED INDEPENDENT OF ALLAH’S GIVEN POWER AND AUTHORITY COMMIT SHIRK OF ATTRIBUTES SUCH A PERSON TOO IS KAFIR. {Correct belief about the Miracles of the Prophets is that such as Musa (Allaihe Salam)'s miracle of rope turning into a snake, Isa [as] bringing the birds of clay to life, and Prophet Muhammed , the beloved messenger of Allah, splitting the moon, all were performed with the power and permission of Allah.} Shirk Of Worship: To bow down to a CREATION of Allah with the intention of worshiping, that creation. *{}* BOWING DOWN TO IDOL WITH THE INTENTION OF WORSHIP. *{}* BOWING DOWN TO A LIVING-PERSON / DEAD-PERSON WITH THE INTENTION OF WORSHIP. *{}* BOWING TO ANY CREATION OF ALLAH WITH INTENTION OF WORSHIP. *{}* CONSIDERING A CREATION OF ALLAH TO BE WORTHY OF WORSHIP This form Shirk is Kufar. Shirk of Relations: A form of Shirk in which Allah is associated with partner. *{}*In which Allah is Associated with Daughters. *{}*In which Allah is Associated with Parents. *{}*In which Allah is Associated with Children. This form of Shirk is KUFAR. Shirk of Pride: [Ar-Riya]- A form of Shirk in which a person takes pride because of certain acheivement. This form of shirk is NOT KUFAR. Hidden “Shirk”: This form of Shirk, is of when a person UNINTENTIONALLY attributes with a X object, a attribute which is not its own [Zati] ATTRIBUTE, but it has been conferred [Atah/Atahi] to it by Allah. And that ATTRIBUTE remains in the control of Allah. *{}* Its is said that knife cuts, *{}* Its said that fire burns {<>} Aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jammah is that its not knives nature to cut, because had that been the case, then it would have cut Hazrat Ismail (Allaihe Salam) when his father wished to sacrifice him in the cause of Allah. {<>} Aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah is that fire does not burn because had the nature of fire been to burn it would have burnt Ibrahim (Allaihe Salam) when he was thrown into the pit of fire by Mushriqeen. Important Note: This definition of “Shirk” should not be used in connection with: Muhammedur’RasoolAllah , Ambiyah (Allaihemus Salam), Sahabah (Ridwanullahe Ta'la Allaihe Ajmain), Awliyah-Allah, who so ever does so, has transgressed the boundaries of Quran and Sunnah. When reffering to this group of people make refference of it has Tawheed Al Akbar, say they believed that EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IS IN CONTROL OF ALLAH. Ibrahim (AllaiheSalam) believed that nothing happens without the will of Allah, Knife wont cut without the will of Allah, Ismail (Allaihe Salam) believed that Knife will not until Allah wishes so. When Allah commanded the knife to cut, then Allah substituted Ismail (Allaihe Salam) with a lamb. Ibrahim (Allaihe Salam) was thrown in fire, he didn’t call on his relatives to save him from the burning fire, he sat in fire, and when Gibraeel (Allaihe Salam) came to help, Ibrahim (Allaihe Salam) said O Gibraeel! as Allah sent you or have you come out of your own choice, he replied out of my own choice. Then Ibrahim [as] told Gibraeel [as] then don’t assist me, its Allah’s decision. Allah ordered the fire to be COOL. This is Tawheed Al Akhbar. Second Note: All excluding the above are included in this definition of shirk. This form of “shirk” is neither KUFAR nor offensive in anyway, because its part of our fitrah. Allah does not hold us accountable for whats our Fitrah, but we are only accountable which are can be controlled by us. {<>} Its quite dangerous to classify this as “shirk”. I seek refuge in Allah from misguidance of Iblis. O Allah I seek your forgiveness if I be the cause of Fitna or play a part in someone being mislead. IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a verse in the Quran which states that Rasool Allah rejection is rejection of all the Prophets [cant recall the passage in the Quran] that came before him. How can rejection of one Rasool be the rejection of all the Messengers that had come before him? Answer is very simple, Prophets had brought different Sharia, which suited to the conditions of a nation and those who acted upon this Shariah indeed followed the Shariah of the all former Messengers (Allaihemus Salam). And the difference in the Shariah of RasoolAllah would not mean that those people who adhered to the Sharia of former Prophets rejected the Shariah of RasoolAllah . But all PROPHETS had brought one thing which was unchanged through out ages from ADAM (Allaihe Salam) to the time of Muhammed , and that is the understanding of “Tawheed & Shirk”. In this context one who rejects the message of Tawheed [shirk] given by RasoolAllah has rejected all the Prophets. Because every prophet was sent by Allah to take people back to the very reason for which Allah created us, His Worship. Without sound understanding of Allah’s Attributes, and without understanding fundamentals of Tawheed the worship of Allah would have been vain. Therefore Allah sent Prophets/Messengers to distinguish between Tawheed & Shirk and then commonded them to teach their followers ways of worship of Allah. Therefore the fundamental message of all Prophets/Messengers was TAWHEED, rejection of RasoolAllah’s Tawheedi message, would mount to rejecting all the Prophets/Messengers that had come before him. Definition of Shirk does not change according to time. What WAS shirk at the beginning of the creation WILL REMAIN shirk till the DAY OF JUDGEMENT, because Allah does not change, He remains One and will remain One. The ihkaam which He has subjected His Creation to, will change. Halal will become haram, haram will become halal according to particular situation of a people, but this change of ihkaam, will not be in the regards to the understanding of “Shirk & Tawheed”.
