  6. The Promised Destruction Preceeding Day Of Judgement Will Be Upon Kafirs & Mushrikeen. Introduction: Heretical Wahhabiyah are of the belief that some eliments of Ummah of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) are engaged in major Shirk. To counter this heretical innovation the Ahle Sunnat use ahadith to substantiate the impossibility of Muslim Ummah of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) being engaged in major Shirk. In response to this evidence, the heretics quote evidence which specificly points of non-Muslim Arab Ummah falling into Shirk after the blowing of the musky fragrant wind, to argue the possibility of major Shirk and to argue the major Shirk taking place within Muslim Ummah in Arabian peninsula. This article will partly explain their misconstrued evidence to establish; the evidence of heretics is figment of their imagination and it does not refute the position of Ahle Sunnat because it refers to disbelievers who would survive Muslims after the blowing of wind. Importantly it will explain the Wahhabi evidence in the context of Ahle Sunnat's position; death of all Muslims will occur before the Day of Judgement and after their death kuffr, Shirk will dominate the earth and it will be upon these disbelievers Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will bring the punishment, the destruction of earth to fulfill the promise of punishment He made. No Punishment Until Gate Of Repentance Is Closed & Muslims Are Dead: Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) asks the Mushrikeen:“Say: "You think, if the punishment of Allah comes to you, whether suddenly or openly, will any be destroyed except those who do wrong?” [Ref: 6:47] The rehotorical question implies the punishment will be collective punishment without excluding anyone accept believers because Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) stated: “But those who reject our signs,- them shall punishment touch, for that they ceased not from transgressing.” [Ref: 6:49] Question arises how will the disbelievers be punished only when entire earth will be destroyed on which there will be Muslims too? As an answer Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has foretold the believers that Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will not punish the disbelivers until you the Muslims are amongst them: “But Allah would not punish them while you are among them, ...” and the verse continues to add another qualifier: “... and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.” [Ref: 8:33] There are two limits here; one, they can seek forgiveness until they are alive after which the death will take over and they will be punished individually in graves. And second limit is that the kuffar can seek forgiveness until the gate of repentance are closed near the day of judgement. Gates Of Repentance Will Be Closed: Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) states about the Mushrikeen: “Wait they, indeed, for nothing less than that the angels should come unto them or thy Lord should come, or there should come one of the signs from your Lord?”[1] [Ref: 6:158] and then Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) tells them about the coming of signs after which their believing in Islam will not benefit them nor doing of good deeds after it: “In the day when one of the signs from thy Lord cometh, then their having faith will not benefit them nor the faithful will benfit if they had not already earned good deeds, Say: You wait! We (too) are waiting.” [Ref: 6:158] And the ahadith mention the last, finale event which would indicate the closing of repentance gate: "The Hour will not be established ... and till the sun rises from the West.[2] So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good through its Faith.' And the Hour will be established while ...” [Ref: Bukhari, B88, H237] and in another hadith it is recorded: “Abu Mu'sa reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, Stretches out His Yad during the night so that the people repent for the fault committed from dawn till dusk and He stretches out His Yad daring the day so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dusk to dawn. (He would accept repentance) before the sun rises in the west. A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters.” [Ref: Muslim, B37, H6644] The sign of beast from the earth is mentioned in the Quran: “And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations.” [Ref: 27:82] and in another hadith it is stated: “... I committed to memory a hadith from Allah's Messenger and I did not forget it after I had heard Allah's Messenger as saying: The first sign would be the appearance of the sun from the west, the appearance of the beast before the people in the forenoon and which of the two happens first, the second one would follow immediately after that.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H7025] Readers should note; there are other ahadith which indicate the coming of the smoke, the general turmoil[3], the Dajjal as being indications of closing of gate of repentance: “When three things appear faith will not benefit one who has not previously believed or has derived no good from his faith: the rising of the sun in its place of setting, the Dajjal, and the beast of the earth.” [Ref: Muslim, B1, H296] and interpretation of Quranic verse: “In the day when one of the signs from thy Lord cometh, then their having faith will not benefit them nor the faithful will benfit if they had not already earned good deeds, Say: You wait! We (too) are waiting.” [Ref: 6:158] in light of coming of Isa (alayhis sallam) as a sign: “And he shall be a sign of the Hour. Therefore have no doubt about the Hour, but follow Me. That is the straight path.” [Ref: 43:61] means; Prophet Isa (alayhis salam) is also a sign of closing of gate of repentance which will happen prior to day of judgement.[4] The appearance of Jewish impostor al Masih ad-Dajjal, return of Isa (alayhis sallam), general turmoil, the smoke, would indicate the nearness of closing the gate of repentance. The actual closing of gate of repentance will be rising of sun from West, and beast of earth after which no good deeds will be rewarded nor believing in Islam would benefit anyone. And it will be after this time that Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) cause the Muslims to die by sending a wind to fullfil which He has promised: “But Allah would not punish them while you are among them, ...” [Ref: 8:33] The Disbelievers Asked For Punishment: The disbelievers mockingly asked for the punishment to be sent from skies if the message of Quran given to Prophet Muhammad (sallalahua layhi was'sallam) was truth: “And when they said: "O Allah! If this is indeed the truth from You, then rain down stones on us from the sky or bring on us a painful torment.'' [Ref: 8:32] in response Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) informs Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam? “And indeed Messengers were mocked at before you but I granted respite to those who disbelieved, and finally I punished them. Then how (terrible) was My punishment!” [Ref: 13:32] Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) states if:“Were He to call them to account for what they have earned, then surely, He would have hastened their punishment. But they have their appointed time, beyond which they will find no escape.” [Ref: 18:58] and finally Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) instructs: “The Event ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him.” [Ref: 16:1] Then adressing the disbelivers Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) states: “And let not the disbelievers think that Our postponing of their punishment is good for them. We postpone the punishment only so that they may increase in sinfulness. And for them is a disgracing torment.” [Ref: 3:178] Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) focusing toward Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) states: “And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.” [Ref: 29:53] in another verse Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) states: “And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.”[5] [Ref: 29:53] Allah Will Take The Life Of Muslims By Gentle Wind: Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) foretold: “The hour will not come until tribes (i.e. qabail) of my Ummah join the polytheists and worship idols. And in my Ummah there will be thirty liars each of them will claim he is a Prophet. While I am the Seal (i.e. Last) of Prophets. There is no Prophet after me.” [Ref: Tirmadhi, B36, H2226] “The Last Hour would not come until the women of the tribe of Daus would be seen going round Dhi al-Khalasa[6] (for worship) and Dhi al-Khalasa is a place in tabala, where there was a temple in which the people of the tribe of Daus used to worship the idol." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6944] and in another hadith with slight variation of wording: "The Hour will not be established till the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daus move while going round Dhi-al-Khalasa." Dhi-al-Khalasa was the idol of the Daus tribe which they used to worship in the Pre Islamic Period of ignorance.” [Ref: Bukhari, B88, H232] When Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: “The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and 'Uzza.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] Hadhrat Aysha (radiallah ta'ala anha) said him about his statement: “Allah's Messenger, I think when Allah has revealed this verse: "He it is Who has sent His Messenger with right guidance, and true religion, so that He may cause it to prevail upon all religions, though the polytheists are averse (to it)", it implies that is going to be fulfilled.” Then Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) replied: “It would happen as Allah would like. Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in Him would die[7] and those only would survive who would have no goodness in them." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] “... and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them.” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] “Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the charactertistics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil.” [Ref: Muslim B 41, H 7023] Describing the characteristics of the wind would be pleasant: “... wind which will be fragrant like musk and whose touch will be like the touch of silk; (but) it will cause the death of all (faithful) persons, not leaving behind a single person with an iota of faith in his heart. Then only the worst of men will remain to be overwhelmed by the Hour. ” [Ref: Muslim, B20, H4721] Another hadith makes it absolutely clear that no Muslims will be left: “... Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them.” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] and that will be a time when “... the milch camel would give such (a large quantity of) milk that the whole tribe would be able to drink out of that and the milch sheep would give so much milk that the whole family would be able to drink out of that and ...” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] in other words: “... they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives.”[8] [Ref: Muslim B 41, H 7023] After The Death Of Muslims Some Arabs Disbelievers Will Revert To Idolatry: At this stage Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) would have fullfilled his promise of: “But Allah would not punish them while you are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.” [Ref: 8:33] by sending musky silk like wind which would have taken the life of believers: “... Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and ...” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] and the gates of repentance for kuffar will be firmly shut: “In the day when one of the signs from thy Lord cometh, then their having faith will not benefit them nor the faithful will benfit if they had not already earned good deeds, Say: You wait! We (too) are waiting.” [Ref: 6:158] Then the remaining disbelievers will be visited by Shaytan in human form and then he would say: “Don't you respond? And they would say: What do you order us?” Shaytan would: “... command them to worship the idols but, in spite of this, they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives.” [Ref: Muslim B41, H7023] “... they would revert to the religion of their forefathers." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] It would be after inciting of Shaytan that Arabs would worship Lat, Uzza, Dhi Al Khalasa and then the women of tribe of Daws will dance rotating their buttocks while making Tawaf of their ancesterial idol.“Then only the worst of men will remain to be overwhelmed by the Hour.” [Ref: Muslim, B20, H4721] “Then the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side ...” [Ref: Muslim B 41, H 7023] as if one is attempting to listen to where the sound is coming from. Shirk & Kuffr Will Be The Order Of Earth: Imam Mahdi and return of Isa (alayhis sallam) both will fight in the cause of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) to establish the superiority of deen of Islam over those who will oppose it. And with means of their struggle Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will fullfil the promise of Islam dominating all the religions of earth: “It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the polytheists hate (it).” [Ref: 9:33] After which Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will cause all the Muslims of earth to die. The remaining disbelievers of Arabian peninsula and the Kafirs in general will revert to idolatry and worship idols of their pre-islamic ancestors: “It would happen as Allah would like. Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in Him would die and those only would survive who would have no goodness in them. And they would revert to the religion of their forefathers." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] And a hadith records the saying of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam? "The Hour will not come until no-one on earth says 'La ilaha il-lallah.'" [Ref: M.I.Ahmad, Hadith 13833] It means there will be no anyone left to teach, believe, or to say the teaching of Tawheed: “There is no god except Allah.” The ignorance about Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) reach to such a level there will be no one left on earth to remember Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) by His personel name: “It was also reported from Anas that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe was'sallam) said: "The Hour will not come until no-one on earth says, 'Allah, Allah'."[9] [Ref: M.I.Ahmad,Hadith 12044] At such time of ignorance Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will inflict the punishment, the torment, upon the kuffar which He has promised that it would preceed before judgement day: “A questioner asked concerning a torment about to befall. Upon the disbelievers, which none can avert[10]. From Allah, the Lord of the ways of ascent. The angels and the Ruh ascend to Him in a Day the measure whereof is fifty thousand years. So be patient with a good patience. Verily! They see it (i.e. coming of punishment) impossible far off. But We see it near.” [Ref: 70:1/7] In the past majority of inhabitants of earth were polytheists: "Say: "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those before (you)! Most of them were Mushrikun.[11]" [Ref: 30:42] And it is observed that marjority of people of earth at present are polytheists; Christians, Hindu's, Buddhist's and these religions have beliefe in a Supreme God as well as subordinate gods, under the command of Supreme God hence the verse: “And most of them believe in Allah except that they attribute partners unto Him.”[12] [Ref: 12:106] identifies the current state of earth not just of past. Therefore a educated assumption is that in future majority who would survive the blowing of wind will eventually revert to polytheism. As part of world wide revival of polytheism and Arabs reverting to polytheistic religion of their ancestors would be part of this revival.[13] The Trumpet Will Be Blown To Signal The Coming Judgement Day: The beginning of greater destruction on earth will begin with blowing of the trumpet. When the trumpet is blown the first time the mountains will be turned to dust and the earth as we know it will be destroyed: “Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one). And the earth and the mountains shall be removed from their places, and crushed with a single crushing.” [Ref: 69:13/15] Another verse adds more detail on destruction of mountains:“And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds. The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things, verily He is Well-Acquainted with what you do.” [Ref: 27:88] Earth will be levelled plain with the crumbling of mountains: “And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a levelled plain, and[14] ... [Ref: 18:47] This global level destruction will spread fear: “And [warn of] the Day the Trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills.” [Ref: 27:87] and the fear would be so much that it will cause the child carers to neglect children, pregnant women will have miscrage: “On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah is severe.” [Ref: 22:2] At this critical time, the verse states that people would swoon: “And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon[15] (i.e. die) away, except him whom God wills.”[Ref: 39:68] The hadith of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) explains that swoon is in meaning of death. After the death of inhabitants of earth Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will then roll back universe and then the big bang will repeat again: "'The day' when, We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolls up a written scroll.[16] As We began the first creation We shall repeat it." [Ref: 21:104] The first creation was began with big bang, and living creatures were created from water: "Have not "those who disbelieve" known that heavens and earth were of one piece, We parted them and, We made every living thing of water, will they not then believe?" [Ref: 21:30] So the second creation will begin with big bang and the living will return to life with water. Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will send a rain as explained by Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam? “Then Allah will send rain like dew and bodies of people will grow from it[17], then the trumpet will be blown again and they will stand up and begin to look around.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H7023] The fallowing verses are the basis of content of hadith:“... and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord.” [Ref: 36:51]“.., and at once they will be standing, looking on.” [Ref: 39:68] Conclusion: Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has stated that he will not punish the disbelievers for their disbelief until they can repent from their non-Islamic ways and nor He would punish them while the Muslims live amongst them. The final limit for the seeking of forgiveness is before death and before closing of the gate of repentance as well as the death of Muslims which will take place when Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will send a gentle, smooth, fragrant wind which will take the lives of all believers. Leaving behind the kuffar out of which some will revert to idolatry especially some of the Arabs. Who would worship the idol gods of their ancestors; Lat, Uzza and Dhi Al Khalasa. And it will be time when kuffr and Shirk will be the order of the day and none will be encourage good nor prohibit evil. Then trumpet will be blown it will strike fear in the hearts of disbelievers, the pregnant women will have miscraige and all people of would die, the mountains will crumble to dust and Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will reverse the expansion of universe until it reaches to stage of Big Bang. Then he will command it to explode into being again as it did the first time and a similar earth will be created again: "On the day when the earth will be changed to other than this earth and the heavens also And they will come forth unto God, The One The Almighty." [Ref: 14: 48] Upon it Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) cause the rain to decend and when the second trumpet is blown the dead will rise from their graves. Wama alayna ilal balaghul mubeen. Muhammed Ali Razavi Footnotes: - [1] “... reported the saying of Prophet, Allah's words: “...or there should come one of the signs from your Lord?” He said; (These signs include) the rising of the sun from the West.” [Ref: Tirmadhi, H3082, English] - [2] When the sun rises from the West all the disbelievers will believe in Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has their One, the Only God, Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) as their Prophet, and Quran as the relevation of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala? “... and the people see it, they all will believe.” But it will be in a time when believing will do: “ And that is (the time) when no good will it do to a soul to believe then." because the the potent signs of the impending doom would be clear as day: “In the day when one of the signs from thy Lord cometh, then their having faith will not benefit them nor the faithful will benfit if they had not already earned good deeds, Say: You wait! We (too) are waiting.” [Ref: Bukhari, B60, H160] - [3] “Hasten in performing these good deeds (before these) six things (happen): (the appearance) of tribe Dajjal, the smoke, the beast of the earth, the rising of the sun from the west, the general turmoil (leading to large-scale massacre) and death of masses and individuals.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H7040] - [4] Accepting appearance of Dajjal and Prophet Isa (alayhis salam) as sign of closing of gate of repentance means that gate of repentance would be closed with their arrival. Hence any deed done thereafter would not benefit and it will end the possibility of spread of Islam but this would contradict the ahadith which stipulate Hadhrat Isa (alayhis salam) will fight for the cause of Islam. And he will abolish Jaziya (i.e. a tax for non-muslims) which means he will abrogate the traditional practice of offering to non-Muslims; Islam or Jaziya and replace it with; Islam or death. Refusal to accept Islam will mean certain death and only acceptance of Islam would save a non-Muslims life. Now if the gate of repentance was closed with appearnce of Dajjal, even before the arrival of Hadhrat Isa (alayhis salam) then offer of acceptance of Islam would be meaningless. Note: I have found it extremely difficult to reconcile these ahadith with each other. So it would be help if someone can shed some light on the issue. Despite the difficulties a harmonised account is presented. If I have written anything which challenges established scholarship of Ahle Sunnat of past or present, please fallow the guidance of those Ulamah on this issue. Allah knows best. - [5] In interpretation of: “But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.” [Ref: 29:53] Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) foretold the swiftness of the destruction preceeding day of judgement and the daily activities of people: “And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it." [Ref: Bukhari, B88, H237] This indicates that people of earth will be engaged in their daily activities and will have no knowledge of impending nor will they percieve the coming of doom as well as of the swiftness of the destruction that will overtake the people. - [6] Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: "Will you relieve me from Dhi-al-Khalasa? " Dhi-al-Khalasa was an idol which the people used to worship and it was (also) called Al-Ka'ba al Yamaniyya.” Hadhrat Jarir replied: "O Allah's Apostle I am a man who can't sit firm on horses." So he stroked my chest (with his hand) and said, "O Allah! Make him firm and make him a guiding and well-guided man." So I went out with fifty (men) from my tribe of Ahrnas ... and came to Dhi-al-Khalasa and burnt it, ...” then he came back to Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) and informed him of success in burning the idol: "O Allah's Apostle! I have not come to you till I left it like a camel with a skin disease." Upon hearing the news: “The Prophet then invoked good upon Ahmas and their cavalry.” [Ref: Bukhari, B75, H345] - [7] Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: "If Allah wants to do a favor to somebody, He bestows on him, the gift of understanding the Quran and Sunna. I am but a distributor, and Allah is the Giver. The state of this nation will remain good till the Hour is established, or till Allah's Order comes." [Ref: Bukhari, B92, H415] The coming Order would be of blowing of wind: “Then Allah would send cold wind from the side of Syria that none would survive upon the earth having a speck of good in him or faith in him but he would die, so much so that even if some amongst you were to enter the innermost part of the mountain, this wind would reach that place also and that would cause his death.” [Ref: Muslim B 41, H 7023] After which the state of Ummah would change from good to bad: “Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the charactertistics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil.” [Ref: Muslim B 41, H 7023] in another hadith Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: “... Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and ...” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] - [8] Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) states that rich people of the cities disbelieve in the Prophets and the message they brought: “And We did not send a warner to a township but those who were given the worldly wealth and luxuries among them said: "We believe not in the (Message) with which you have been sent." [Ref: 34:34] And the hadith states that the rich people would worship idols and reject the religion of Islam after the blowing of wind. - [9] It is practice of Ahlus Sunnah especially those who are inclined toward Sufi tariqa (i.e. way, path, method) of self purification, rectification; they remember Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) by reciting continously: ' La ilaha il-lallah.' and then in the finale stage the zikr (i.e. remeberance) of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) is purely with continous repeating of : Allah, Allah, Allah. In this context the saying of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam? "The Hour will not come until no-one on earth says, 'Allah, Allah'." could also mean that there will be no Zikr of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) because the Muslims as well as the Ahle Sunnat would have died after the blowing of gentle breeze. - [10] “And Our punishment cannot be warded off from the people who are Mujrimun (i.e. criminals, sinners, disbelievers, polytheists).” [Ref: 12:110] - [11] Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) stated in presence of: “... about forty men, were with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) in a camp when he said: Aren't you pleased that they should constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise? He (the narrator) said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) again said: Aren't you pleased that you should constitute one-third of the inhabitants of Paradise? They said: Yes. Upon this he again said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, I hope that you would constitute one-half of the inhabitants of Paradise and the reason is that no one would be admitted into Paradise but a believer and you are no more among the polytheists than as a white hair on the skin of a black ox or a black hair on the skin of a red ox.” [Ref: Muslim, B1, H428] This hadith makes it clear that Mushrikeen were majority in the time of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) and will remain overwhelming majority till the destruction of inhabitants of earth is carried out: And most of them believe in Allah except that they attribute partners unto Him.” [Ref: 12:106] Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) invites to examine the pre-Islamic era and declares: "Say: "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those before (you)! Most of them were Mushrikun.! " [Ref: 30:42] So in pre-Islamic era and post Islamic era the majority was, majority will be of Mushrikeen by the ratio mentioned by Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam). - [12] According to the primary historical context of the verse: “And most of them believe in Allah except that they attribute partners unto Him.” [Ref: 12:106] The verse means; most of the inhabitants of Arabian peninsula at the time of revelation of this verse were polytheists who believed in Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) as their God but attributed partners to Him. But this verse is not specific about a region or group of people. It is general therefore as long as conditions of the verse is fullfilled it can be applied to any region, any group of people, or even entire people of earth. - [13] Allah knows best about the actual reality of the belives of people. Readers are not obligated to believe in any aspect of this assumption and it would not effect negatively upon their aqeedah if one doesn't believe so. The fundamental belief which must be confirmed to be a Muslim is; the coming of judgement day and all its desruction will be inflicted upon disbelievers. - [14] “And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a levelled plain, and [after the second trumpet blows] we shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind.” [Ref: 18:47] - [15] Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) explained; Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will send a rain which will cause the dead people to grow out of earth as vegetation grows:“Then the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side (i.e. trying to hear the sound) and the first one to hear that trumpet would be the person who would be busy in setting right the tank meant for providing water to the camels. He would swoon and the other people would also swoon, then Allah would send or He would cause to send rain which would be like dew and there would grow out of it the bodies of the people. Then the second trumpet would be blown and they would stand up and begin to look (around). Then it would be said: O people, go to your Lord, and make them stand there. And they would be questioned. Then it would be said: Bring out a group (out of them) for the Hell-Fire. And then it would be asked: How much? It would be said: Nine hundred and ninty-nine out of one thousand for the Hell-Fire and that would be the day which would make the children old because of its terror and that would be the day about which it has been said:" On the day when the shank would be uncovered.” [Ref: Muslim, Book 41, Hadith 7023] - [16] The explosion of unimaginably dense matter which resulted in the universe and its continous expansion is called the Big Bang theory. The scientist community now believes in theory contraction of the universe to the point of starting. (i.e. Big Crunch). This theory states if the expansion of universe does not exceed the escape velocity then the combined gravitational attraction of all matter within the universe will cause it to contract to the point where it started and then the Big Bang will repeat. This theory accords with this teaching of Quranic verse, Allah knows better. - [17] The growing of bodies from earth after the rain is explained in the verse: “He brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living. And He revives the earth after its death. And thus shall you be brought out (resurrected).” [Ref: 30:19] Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) states He brings out the living from the dead and in the same way Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will bring the dead humans beings to life for judgement day. The question is how does Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) achieve this feet: “... in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; ... (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.” [Ref: 2:164] Another verse states: “Verily! It is Allah Who causes the seed-grain and the fruit-stone (like date-stone) to split and sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead, and it is He Who brings forth the dead from the living. Such is Allah, then how are you deluded away from the truth?” [Ref: 6:95] This establishes Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) brings out the living from dead via seeds and rain water. This is affirmed in another verse of the Quran:“It is He Who sends the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, We drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall We raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember.” [Ref: 7:57] and in verse: “Then contemplate (O man!) the memorials of Allah's Mercy! How He gives life to the earth after its death: verily the same will give life to the men who are dead: for He has power over all things.” [Ref: 30:50] In conclusion just as vegetation grows out of dead earth the mankind will be ressurected in similar fashion.

  9. The Promised Destruction Preceeding Day Of Judgement Will Be Upon Kafirs & Mushrikeen.
  10. If this is indeed the truth from You, then rain down stones on us from the sky or bring on us a painful torment.'' [Ref: 8:32] in response Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) informs Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam): “And indeed Messengers were mocked at before you but I granted respite to those who disbelieved, and finally I punished them. And they would revert to the religion of their forefathers." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] And a hadith records the saying of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam): "The Hour will not come until no-one on earth says 'La ilaha il-lallah.'" [Ref: M.I.Ahmad, Hadith 13833] It means there will be no anyone left to teach, believe, or to say the teaching of Tawheed: “There is no god except Allah.” The ignorance about Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) reach to such a level there will be no one left on earth to remember Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) by His personel name: “It was also reported from Anas that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe was'sallam) said: "The Hour will not come until no-one on earth says, 'Allah, Allah'."[9] [Ref: M.I.Ahmad,Hadith 12044] At such time of ignorance Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will inflict the punishment, the torment, upon the kuffar which He has promised that it would preceed before judgement day: “A questioner asked concerning a torment about to befall. When the trumpet is blown the first time the mountains will be turned to dust: “Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one). And the earth and the mountains shall be removed from their places, and crushed with a single crushing.” [Ref: 69:13/15] and another verse more detail:“And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds. Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will send a rain as explained by Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam): “Then Allah will send rain like dew and bodies of people will grow from it[17], then the trumpet will be blown again and they will stand up and begin to look around.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H7023] The fallowing verses are the basis of content of hadith:“... Muhammed Ali Razavi Footnotes: - [1] “... reported the saying of Prophet, Allah's words: “...or there should come one of the signs from your Lord?” He said; (These signs include) the rising of the sun from the West.” [Ref: Tirmadhi, H3082, English] - [2] When the sun rises from the West all the disbelievers will believe in Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has their One, the Only God, Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) as their Prophet, and Quran as the relevation of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala): “... and the people see it, they all will believe.” But it will be in a time when believing will do: “ And that is (the time) when no good will it do to a soul to believe then." because the the potent signs of the impending doom would be clear as day: “In the day when one of the signs from thy Lord cometh, then their having faith will not benefit them nor the faithful will benfit if they had not already earned good deeds, Say: You wait! In this context the saying of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam): "The Hour will not come until no-one on earth says, 'Allah, Allah'." could also mean that there will be no Zikr of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) because the Muslims as well as the Ahle Sunnat would have died after the blowing of gentle breeze.

  16. Salam alayqum wr wb bot khoob you guys are doing a excellent job at the site. I would like to see you guys write proper Urdu articles on aqaid of Ahle Sunnat.
  17. Introduction: The focus would be to refute the Wahhabi methodology of determining Shirk and exclusivity with arguments which have not been employed in the other writtings. And allow the Wahhabiyyah to take the stab at the methodology of Ahle Sunnat with their worn out arguments and then refute them. Wahhabi Principle Of Determining Shirk & Exclusivity. To determine Shirk of attributes Wahhabi's also use the first part of Ahle Sunnat's principle Shirk: 'A exclusive attribute of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) attributed to a creation is Shirk ...” but have added a exceptive clause of their own: “... except what is affirmed for a creation in Qur’an or Hadith.' and to determine which attribute is exclusive Wahhabi's knowingly or unknowingly employ the fallowing principle: 'Every attribute not substantiated for a creation in Qur’an or Ahadith but substantiated for Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) is exclusive attribute of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala).' Ahle Sunnat's Principles Of Determining Shirk & Exclusivity. Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat employ the principle: 'A exclusive attribute of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) attributed to a creation is Shirk.' to determine Shirk of attributes. And to determine exclusivity Ahle Sunnat employ fallowing principle: 'Every attribute of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) in meaning of; zaati (i.e. personnel), qadeemi (i.e. eternal), ghair izni (i.e. requiring no permission), qulli (i.e. absolute), la mahdood (i.e. unlimited), ghair-makhlooq (i.e. uncreated), and haqiqi (i.e. intrinsic) is exclusive attribute of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala).' Note to warrant Shirk it is not essential that all of these concepts are applied to a attribute but if one or more of these concepts are assigned to any attribute of creation; Shirk of attributes will be warranted. Creation of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) possesses all of their attributes, qualities in meaning of; granted (i.e. atahi) limited (i.e. muntahi), ephemeral (i.e. zimni), bi'izni (i.e. requiring permission), baaz (i.e. partial), makhalooqi (i.e. created), majazi (i.e. extrinsic) and if any of attribute of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) is understood in meaning of mentioned then Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has been made like creation of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) which is kuffr because nothing is like Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala). Allah (subhanhu wa ta'ala) And Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) Are Rauf ur-Raheem. Wahhabis generally would be aware that Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has stated in Quran that He is Rauf and Raheem: “Or that He may not call them to account by a process of slow wastage - for your Lord is rauf' ur'raheem (i.e. most kind most merciful).” [Ref: 16:47] “Were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, and that Allah is rauf ur'raheem (ye would be ruined indeed).” [Ref: 24:20] but most of them will not be familiar with Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) being declared as rauf ur-raheem: “Now hath come unto you an Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he rauf ur'raheem (i.e. most kind and most merciful)”. [Ref: 9:128] And when such ignorant Wahhabi hears the use of these two words for beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) he/she will immediately conclude major Shirk (i.e. Shirk of attributes) has occurred. The knowledgeable Wahhabi, the book worm type, would be familiar with the fact; Rauf and Raheem are two qualities of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) which Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has mentioned in Quran. As a result he/she will not reach the verdict of Shirk and nor would make the mistake of takfir; which the ignorant Wahhabi would be make. Dialogue With A Imaginary Traditional Wahhabi. If a traditional-Wahhabi student of knowledge is questioned about the beliefe of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) being Rauf ur-Raheem and why its not Shirk? The knowledgeable Wahhabi would say: this attribute is not exclusive to Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) and the evidence proves so. Shirk of attribute occurs when a exclusive, unique, attribute of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) is granted to a creation, hence Prophet's (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) being Rauf, Raheem is not Shirk. I would then question; can a attribute which is established with evidence for creation of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) be Shirk? The Wahhabi answer according to his knowledge of principle of determining exclusivity and definition of Shirk would be; no. To establish the error on the Wahhabi it would be prudent to question; what if a person believes Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) is Rauf, Raheem in meaning of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) possessing these attributes by his own self (i.e. Zaati) as well as absolute (i.e. Qulli) in comparision to Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala)? The Wahhabi will reply in affirmative; yes, then the attributes have been polluted with polytheistic creed. Once the Wahhabi has conceded that if such meanings assigned to Prophet's (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) being Rauf, Raheem are polytheistic, then it would be best to have confirm it with question: So you are saying if a person believes Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) is Rauf, Raheem by his ownself not attribute granted to him by Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) and Rauf, Raheem without limit then such a person is guilty of Shirk? Wahhabi should affirm it and if not; question again with same question until the desired answer realised then ask: What were the two polluting beliefes on the basis of which Rauf, Raheem were judged as Shirk? If the disscussion is fallowed and the context remembered then the reply will be: Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) possesses these attributes by his own self and without limit. Here is the key question: Would you agree with the conclusion that exclusiveness of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) being Rauf, Raheem is in meaning of Zaati (i.e. Personel) and Qulli (i.e. Absolute)? Reply should be affirmative but question further: Even when a attribute is established with evidence it can be Shirk? The reply again will be in affirmative and there is no need to continue the dialouge. This establishes error in Wahhabi understanding of principles of determining Shirk because it states; a attribute which is established for a creation in Quran and Hadith cannot warrant Shirk. Yet Shirk of attributes has been established for a attribute which is established with evidence of Quran. It also points to error of principle which determines exclusivity of a attribute for Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala); exclusive attributes are which Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has not shared with his creation. Yet exclusivity has been established for a attribute which is shared by Allah (subhanahu wa ta'aa). Apart from highlighting the errors in Wahhabi principles this dialogue also establishes the actual conceptual pollutions which warrant Shirk of attributes. The Wahhabi In Me Discusses With The Sunni In Me. Wme: You believe the that all the attributes of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) belong to category of Zaati, Qulli, La-mahdood, and Ghair-makhlooq? Sme: Yes I do! Wme: Your these concepts are innovations for which there is no clear, unambigous evidence in Quran or Sunnah. Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) stated every newly invented matter is innovation, all innovations are misguidance. Sme: I Indeed every innovation of a particular kind is misguidance so where is the explicit, unambigous evidence from Quran and Sunnah for your innovative principles of determining Shirk and exclusivity? Wme: Well according to your these principles; granted (i.e. atahi) limited (i.e. muntahi), partial (i.e. baaz) the Mushrikeen will not be Mushrik because they believed Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) granted them the right of intercession and the idols were dependant, under the control of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala). Sme: It is true that Mushrikeen believed their idols to be their intercessors with Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) this is insinuated by the rehotorical question: “Have they taken (others) besides Allah as intercessors? Say: "Even if they have power over nothing whatever and have no intelligence?" [Ref: 39:43] and in another verse Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) quotes the beliefe of Mushrikeen: “And they worship besides Allah things that harm them not, nor profit them, and they say: "These are our intercessors with Allah." [Ref: 10:18] Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) states: “No intercessor except after His Leave. That is Allah, your Lord; so worship Him (Alone). Then, will you not remember?” [Ref: 10:3]“None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Gracious (Allah).” [Ref: 19:87] and in another verse same is affirmed: “On that day no intercession shall avail, except the one for whom the Most Gracious (Allah) has given permission and whose word is acceptable to Him.” [Ref: 20:109] Lets suppose the Mushrikeen did believe their idols were intercessors in meaning of atahi, muntahi and baaz compared to Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala). Then what meaning do you believe in intercession of those who will be granted permission by Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala)? If you believe in intercession of those whom Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will grant the right to intercede in meanings of; personel, unlimited, unrestricted, uncreated, eternal, intrinsic you commit major Shirk and if you negate their intercession in meaning of; granted, limited, restricted, created, ephemeral, you indirectly negated their being creation. Wme: Well, I have not mentioned anything about those whom Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) granted the permission of intercession. My argument was according to principles of … Mushrikeen would not be guilty of Shirk because they too believed in their idols to possess the right of intercession because Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) granted them the right of intercession. Therefore they will not be guilty of Shirk according to your principles and this proves fault in your methodology. Sme: I have established the right of intercession for some created beings of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) in meaning of limited, restricted, created, and granted. Hence there is no fault in these principles of Shirk rather the fault is in your understanding what the Shirk of Mushrikeen was. In your creed their Shirk was not taking a idol as god with Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) but Shirk is taking the idol as intercessor with Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala). And in reality Shirk of Mushrikeen was that they took their idol as gods. Taking these idols as intercessors or believing these idols have been granted, limited, restricted, created, right of intercession has nothing to do with them being declared as Mushrikeen. Rather this belief of idols being intercessors or having the right of intercession was kuffria innovation for which the Mushrikeen have had no authority nor they had authority to elevate creation to level of gods. Conclusion: As Muslims we believe Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) is Rauf, Raheem, in meaning of; granted (i.e. atahi) limited (i.e. muntahi), ephemeral (i.e. zimni), bi'izni (i.e. requiring permission), baaz (i.e. partial), makhalooqi (i.e. created), majazi (i.e. extrinsic). Therefore we are protected from shirk even though the attributes of Rauf, Raheem are confirmed for Allah (subhana wa ta'ala). Hence exclusivity of a attribute for Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) is not in meaning of 'Relative Likeness' but exclusivity of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) is in meaning of 'Absolute Likeness' and if any attribute is affirmed for a creation as well as Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) in meaning of 'Absolute Likeness' then it is shirk. The actual uniqueness of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) in posessing a attribute is in meaning of; zaati (i.e. personnel), qadeemi (i.e. eternal), ghair izni (i.e. requiring no permission), qulli (i.e. Absolute), ghair-muntahi, la mahdood (i.e. unlimited), ghair-makhlooq (i.e. uncreated), haqiqi (i.e. intrinsic) and once anyone of these meanings is assigned to a creations attribute then shirk of attributes is warranted. Note that the mentioned were assigned to attributes of Rauf, Raheem, which are established with Quranic evidence for Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam), yet these attributes were determined to be Shirk. This strenthens, establishes the argument of Ahle Sunnat; exclusivity of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) in possessing the attributes is in meaning of; zaati (i.e. personnel), qadeemi (i.e. eternal), ghair izni (i.e. requiring no permission), qulli (i.e. Absolute), la mahdood (i.e. unlimited), ghair-makhlooq (i.e. uncreated), haqiqi (i.e. intrinsic) not in mere similarity of words used for Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) and for his creations. 19. Introduction: The Wahhabiyyah believe Muslim Ummah of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) has already fallen into major Shirk by taking the dead as gods and by worshipping them.[1] When evidence is established against them from ahadith of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) that Muslim Ummah of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) will not worship idols or any other object until after blowing of the fragrant musky wind. Which will take the life of every believer; after this Shirk will spread in kafir Arab Ummah of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam). They argue Muslim Ummah of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) will be guilty of major Shirk before the blowing of musky wind.[2] Wind Will Take The Life Of Every Muslim: When Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: “The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and 'Uzza.” Hadhrat Aysha (radiallah ta'ala ana) after quoting the verse: "He it is Who has sent His Messenger with right guidance, and true religion so that He may cause it to prevail upon all religions, though the polytheists are averse (to it)" [Ref: 9:33] stated: “... it implies that is going to be fulfilled.” In order to explain to her Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) told her that after fullfilment of Allah's (subhanahu wa ta'ala) promised in the Quran: “Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in Him would die and only those would survive who would have no goodness in them." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] in another hadith it is recorded: “Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the charactertistics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil.” [Ref: Muslim B41, H 7023] “... and those only would survive who would have no goodness in them.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] yet in another hadith records the wind will take the life of every Muslim:“... and at that time Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them.” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] The remaining people will be Kafirs because all the believers will die with the blowing of wind and it will be this non-believing Ummah which will revert back to idolatory under the guidance of Shaytaan. Shaytan will come to the Kafirs: “... in human form and would say: Don't you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols ...” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H 7023] “And they would revert to the religion of their forefathers." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] Rasulallah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: “... and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my Ummah attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my Ummah worship idols.” [Ref: Abu Dawood, B30, H4239] in another hadith he explicitly stated about worship of specific idols; Lat and Uzza: “The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and 'Uzza.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] In another hadith Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) mentioned a particular tribe worshipping a particular idol: “... the women of the tribe of Daus would be seen going round Dhi al-Khalasa (for worship) and ..." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6944] and their idoltory would be in spite of of the fact that: “... they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives.” [Ref: Muslim B41, H 7023] “Then only the worst of men will remain to be overwhelmed by the Hour.” [Ref: Muslim, B20, H4721] and as a result: “Then the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side (i.e. die) ...” [Ref: Muslim B 41, H 7023] Satan Worship Only After Blowing Of Wind: “Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing?” [Ref: 19:42] Question is what did the Ummah of Ibrahim (alayhis salam) as well as Azhar worshipped: "Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error." [Ref: 6:74] Its established the Mushrikeen worshipped the idols which Ibrahim (alayhis salam) likened to worship of Satan: "O my father! Worship not Satan: for Satan is a rebel against Ar'Rahman (i.e. Allah the most Gracious).” [Ref: 19:44] And in another verse worship of idol godesses as been termed worship of Satan: “(The Mushrikeen) leaving Him call but upon (i.e. yad'una) godesses: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel!” [Ref: 4:117] Conclusion is that when Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) in Quran says Satan worship it means Idol worship. Now pay attention to words of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam): "Jabir reported: I heard Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: Verily, the Satan has lost all hopes that the worshippers would ever worship (him) in the peninsula of Arabia, but he (is hopeful) that he would sow the seed of dissension amongst them." [Ref: Muslim, B39, H6752] In the Quranic context of; Idol worship being Satan worship, or other way round; Satan worship being Idol worship. Therefore the statement of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) narrated in the hadith: "... the Satan has lost all hopes that the worshippers would ever worship (him) in the peninsula of Arabia, ..." [Ref: Muslim, B39, H6752] means: "... the Satan has lost all hopes that the worshippers would ever worship Satan (i.e. Idols) in the peninsula of Arabia, …" Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) completely negated the possibility of Idol worship taking place Arabian peninsula but there are ahadith which indicate that Idol worship will take place. So we harmonize the both set of ahadith and make takhsees on the basis of evidence available. Therefore the statement of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) means; in Arabian peninsula there will be no idol worship until all the believers die and this is explained by Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) in a hadith: "A'isha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: "The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and 'Uzza (in Arabian peninsula). I said: Allah's Messenger, I think when Allah has revealed this verse: "He it is Who has sent His Messenger with right guidance, and true religion, so that He may cause it to prevail upon all religions, though the polytheists are averse (to it)", it implies that is going to be fulfilled. Thereupon he (Allah's Apostle) said: It would happen as Allah would like. Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in him would die and those only would survive who would have no goodness in them. And they would revert to the religion of their forefathers." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] in another hadith it is stated that every Muslim will die after blowing of the wind: “... and at that time Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them.” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] After the sweet, fragrant, musky, soothing, pleasant, gentle wind blows it will take the life of all the Muslims leaving behind secularist kuffar. They the surviving kafirs will not revert to idol worship until shaytan will go to them: “... in human form and would say: Don't you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols ...” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H 7023]they will do as Shaytan will ask of them and then the prophesy of: “... and the Last Hour will not come before the [Kafir] tribes of my Ummah attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my Ummah worship idols.” [Ref: Abu Dawood, B30, H4239] would be fullfilled. Enter The Young Ones & The Foolish Ones: Some heretics in their eagerness to substantiate the possibility of some eliments of Ummah of RasoolAllah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) falling into Shirk and to defend the unjustified charge of Shirk levelled by Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab against Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat argue; the cold musky gentle wind has already blown in time past. They fail to comprehend that if the wind has already blown in time past predating Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab's birth then all who were left after the blowing the wind and all those will be born thereafter till the blowing of the trumpet are as described by Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam); without any goodness, they will not encourage or appreciate good nor censor evil, they would be careless as birds with characteristics of beasts and last but not least the remanants would be kafirs. And this argument does not only establish the kuffr Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat but also of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab the Khariji, his Khariji takfiri horde and of its Khariji offshoots. Therefore how can it be sanely argued that Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab was encouraging good of Tawheed, forbidding evil of Shirk and reviving the pure teaching of Islam when he himself and the entire Ummah of Muslims are Kafirs! And then no belief will establish the Islam of people who will survive the blowing of musky wind because Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) stated; people would revert to beliefe of their forefathers: “Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in him would die and those only would survive who would have no goodness in them. And they would revert to the religion of their forefathers." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] and in another hadith he said the wind will take the life of all Muslims: “... and at that time Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits and would take the life of every Muslim and ...” Then went on to say the day of judgement will be established on the remaining Kafirs who will cohibit likes donkeys in middle of road: “... and the Last Hour would come to them.” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] Hence natural conclusion is that even if one was to believe in Islam of Wahhabis he will not be Muslim[3] because Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said all Muslims will die thereafter and illogical conclusion number two would be that despite Wahhabis believing in Tawheed and Islam of Wahhabiyyah they like rest of the Arabs are Mushrikeen and are worshippers of Alat, Uzza, Dhi Al Khalasa. This argument of wind blowing before birth of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab actually open's the gate for many inconsistancies within established tradition of Islam which even the Wahhabis do not question. And its error is established from the explicit contents of ahadith as well as observed fact that some Ummah of RasoolAllah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) is holding to principle of encouraging the good and forbidding the evil.[4] Also it goes against the established beliefe of Imam Mahdi, return of Isa (alayhis salam) and Jihad of Muslims against the Yahood because blowing of wind establishes only existance of non-believers on earth till the trumpet is blown. And neither Isa (alayhis salam) nor Imam Mahdi, nor the Muslim army that will accompany them are upon kuffr in anyones belief. Conclusion: Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) explained that after the blowing of the wind which will take the life of every Muslim then the non-Muslim Arabs who will survive will associate the idols of Lat, Uzza and Dhi Al Khalasa with Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) then worship them. It will upon these people the destruction preceding day of judgement will be established. Wama alayna ilal balaghul mubeen. Muhammed Ali Razavi Footnotes: [1] In reality their charge of Ahle Sunnat being guilty of major Shirk is result of Khariji methodology. The Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat do not believe the AwliyahAllah are gods nor we worship them nor we teach this polytheism. [2] Suppose the beliefe of Wahhabiyyah; some eliments of Ummah can and will fall into Shirk before blowing of the wind is established with evidence, even then it will only establish the possibility of Shirk but it will not establish the charge of Ahle Sunnat being guilty of major Shirk. [ 3] The result of foolishness of the young ones is truly foolish because if the argument of wind blowing predating Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab is accepted then it boils down to gate of repentance being closed. And this is not something which Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) reported to take place before the ten major signs. Nor there is mention of gate of repentance being closed then being opened and then finally being closed for the finale time. [4] Gradual westernisation is beginning to pollute the minds of Muslims with ideas such as; live and let live, freedom of choice and individualism. As a result of these concepts taking root amongst the Ummah those who will forbid evil will be told; live and let live, I have freedom of choice. Eventually those with knowledge to censor munkir will be silenced by secularist media and goverments Therefore they will practice deen privately, individually. With absence of people forbidding evil, the munkir will spread to such an extant that there will be very few people left to encourage good and the wind will blow and take their lives leaving secularist Kafirs behind to engage in munkir in absolute freedom.

  21. Introduction. The heretical Wahhabiyyah believe some believing tribes of Ummah of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) would be guilty of worshipping idols before the blowing of musky wind. Establishing this heretical beliefe is fundamental for them because it will justify their charge of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat being people of major Shirk; idolatry. In opposition to heretics the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat holds to the beliefe that believing Ummah of RasoolAllah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) will not fall into major Shirk but the non-believing Arabian Ummah will fall into major Shirk after blowing of musky fragrant wind in its entirity. And it will be upon the polytheists the tremendous punishment, the anahilation, destruction preceeding the day of judgement will be established. Devil's Reasoning & Logic. The Wahhabiyyah argue on the basis of hadith: “... When the sword is used among my Ummah, it will not be withdrawn from them till the Day of Resurrection, and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my Ummah attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my Ummah worship idols. There will be among my Ummah thirty great liars each of them assertinf that he is (Allah's) prophet, whereas I am the Seal of the Prophets after whom (me) there will be no prophet; ...." [Ref: Dawood, B30, H4239] that believing Ummah of RasoolAllah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) will commit major Shirk by believing and worshipping idols. Their argument is simple and without considering the other evidence available on this issue; Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: “... and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my Ummah[1] attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my people worship idols.” therefore it means believing Ummah of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) will be guilty of major Shirk. A Methodological Way Forward. In order to soundly reffute the heretical beliefe it is important to determine if the statement:“... and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my people attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my Ummah worship idols.” reffers to the Muslim Arabs or Kafir Arabs and out of the two who will attach themselves to polytheists and worship idol-gods. Then hypothetically conceed that the hadith refers to Muslims and then explain how this would not help the cause of Wahhabiyyah. “... Tribes Of My Ummah ...” Means: Tribes of My Arab Ummah. RasoolAllah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: “... and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my Ummah attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my people worship idols.” [Ref: Abu Dawood, B30, H4239] in another hadith he explicitly stated about worship of specific idols; Lat and Uzza which were the idol-gods of polytheists of Arabia: “The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and 'Uzza.” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] In another hadith Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) mentioned a particular Arab tribe worshipping a particular idol: “... the women of the tribe of Daus would be seen going round Dhi al-Khalasa (for worship) and ..." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6944] “... Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established till the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daus move while going round Dhi-al-Khalasa." Dhi-al-Khalasa was the idol of the Daus tribe which they used to worship in the Pre Islamic Period of ignorance. [Ref: Bukhari, B88, H232] and another hadith explicitly declares Dhi al Khalasa as the idol: “Dhi-al-Khalasa was an idol which the people used to worship and it was (also) called Al-Ka'ba al Yamaniyya.” [Ref: Bukhari, B75, H345] Hence it is established that the words of hadith: “... and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my people attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my Ummah worship idols.” [Ref: Dawood, B30, H4239] are about Arabian tribes specificly. “... Tribes Of My Ummah ...” Means: Tribes Of My Arab Kafir Ummah. Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) said: “The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and 'Uzza.” Upon hearing which Hadhrat Aysha (radiallah ta'ala anha) quoted the verse: "He it is Who has sent His Messenger with right guidance, and true religion so that He may cause it to prevail upon all religions, though the polytheists are averse (to it)"[2] [Ref: 9:33] and then proceeded to state: “... it implies that is going to be fulfilled.” To which Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) replied: “It would happen as Allah would like.” Then Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) went on to explain how the tribes of his Ummah will fall into Shirk: “Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in Him would die ...” and after which: “... only those would survive who would have no goodness in them." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] another describes the remaining Arabs: “Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the charactertistics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil.”[3] [Ref: Muslim B41, H 7023] And while Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) was detailing the signs of day of judgement he foretold: “And the milch camel would give such (a large quantity of) milk that the whole tribe would be able to drink out of that and the milch sheep would give so much milk that the whole family would be able to drink out of that and at that time Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them.” [Ref: Muslim, B041, H7015] After the death of believers Shaytaan will come to the kafir Arabs: “... in human form and would say: Don't you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols ...” [Ref: Muslim, B41, H 7023] at this juncture these kafir Arabs at the request of Shaytan: “... would revert to the religion of their forefathers." [Ref: Muslim, B41, H6945] and their idoltory would be in spite of of the fact that: “... they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives.” [Ref: Muslim B41, H 7023] “Then only the worst of men will remain to be overwhelmed by the Hour.” [Ref: Muslim, B20, H4721] and as a result of kuffr all over the Arabian peninsula: “... the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side (i.e. die) ...” [Ref: Muslim B 41, H 7023] “... Tribes Of My Ummah ...” Suppose It Means: Tribes Of My Arab Muslim Ummah. For the sake of argument lets ignore all the evidence and agree with Wahhabiyyah that portion of Muslim Ummah of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) will worship the idols before the blowing of gentle musky wind. Then question is what do the Wahhabiyyah achieve from this generous but heretical concession? Even with this concession only some Muslim tribes of Arabian peninsula will be guilty of worshipping idols Uzza, Lat, and Dhi-al-Khalasa. How can the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat be justly accused of worshipping graves, saints, on the basis of this evidence which was specificly about some Arab tribes? RasoolAllah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) has foretold about the Ummah; "... and by Allah, I am not afraid that you will worship others besides Allah after me, ..." [Ref: Bukhari, B76, H590] Those tribes of his Muslim Ummah who will be guilty of major Shirk, meaning, guilty of believing idols to be gods and being guilty of worshiping Lat, Uzza, Dhi Al Khalasa, Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) has already foretold about them. Prophet's (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) silence about the remaining Muslim Ummah is evidence that it will not fall into major Shirk. Otherwise RasoolAllah (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) would have informed that other eliments of Ummah would worship graves and take the AwliyahAllah as gods besides Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) in various regions of earth. Note what was destined to take place Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) has informed and he has informed about the worship of Lat, Uzza, Dhi Al Khalasa returning to Arabia. And what he has not stated will not take place because he made takhsees of his this general statement: "... and by Allah, I am not afraid that you will worship others besides Allah after me, ..." [Ref: Bukhari, B76, H590] by saying Arabian 'Muslims' will worship Lat, Uzza, Dhi Al Khalasa. Absence of evidence from Quran and Hadith about saint worship, grave worship, tree worship, stone worship of Muslims is proof that Ummah is free of it. Conclusion. There is no evidence what so ever that the believing Ummah of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) or believing tribes of Muslims will become Mushrikeen. Rather the evidence of Quran and Hadith is clear on the fact that only after the blowing of musky wind the believing people of Arabian peninsula will die. Those left behind will be Kafirs and to this non-beleiving Ummah the Satan will come and ask them to worship the Idols as a result they will comply. At this point after the blowing of wind the idol worship will return to Arabian peninsula but not before this. Wama alayna ilal balaghul mubeen. Muhammed Ali Razavi Footnotes: - [1] The words “... my Ummah ...” have been used for the false claimants of Prophethood: “There will be among my Ummah thirty great liars each of them assertinf that he is (Allah's) prophet,...” [Ref: Dawood, B30, H4239] The construction of the sentence indicates that even though they will be in reality apostates yet they are mentioned as part of Ummah of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam). Another hadith also reports the similar wording: “... The hour will not come until tribes (i.e. qabail) of my Ummah join the polytheists and worship idols. And in my Ummah there will be thirty liars each of them will claim he is a Prophet. While I am the Seal (i.e. Last) of Prophets. There is no Prophet after me.” [Ref: Tirmadhi, B36, H2226] This establishes that use of; “... my Ummah ...” in the fallowing part of these ahadith: “The hour will not come until tribes of my Ummah join the polytheists and worship idols.” [Ref: Tirmadhi, B36, H2226] “... and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my Ummah attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my Ummah worship idols." [Ref: Dawood, B30, H4239] definitively are not for the Muslim Ummah of beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) but possibally for non-beleiving Ummah. - [2]“It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.” [Ref: 48:28] “It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).” [Ref: 61:9] - [3] Stages of eman are three, first degree and the best; after seeing evil taking place striving to stop it, second degree the preffered middle course; to speak out against it, third the weakest of eman; to denounce it as evil, reprehensible, and dislike it. Prophet (sallalahu alayhi was'sallam) described the remaining Arabs will not encourage good nor censor evil and this is proof that the remaining Arabs would become secularist apostates.
